Moscow office finally on the move! Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 3, 2012.  Extreme cold in Russia was not an obstacle for the Moscow VO to process post 26-June 2010 applicants.. I hope for the best in my further processing for Canada visa. |

Hello everybody,  I am a new member in this forum, I have a question about the time between medical examination and passport request...I have done my medical examination on September 2011 and the line of "medical examination has been received" added on October. But I am still waiting for passport request email:( I am from Iran and my visa office is Warsaw. It seems that most of applications from Iran who have done their medical examination after September 2011 are waiting for hearing passport request news from Warsaw. Is there the same situation in other visa offices too?Does anybody have a clue as to what is causing the delay? |

Dear aylin, i have the same situation and almost every body following warsaw is in the same boat. the reason of that is the latest procedure with passport request from warsaw is as the following: 1- asking you for scanned passport copies via email. 2- after checking ur copies they will ask u to send ur passport to damscus visa office to stamp ur visa. now bcoz damscus visa office is closed, all our files have been transfered as for visa stamping to other visa offices like for iranians the files are now in ankara visa office. so this is the main reason for delay.... but i think by mid of feb every thing will back to normal. hope this was helpful for u... hussam |

I received it exactly at noon time... My husband and I are extremely elated to have got this after such a long wait... This, I guess, is the second happiest day of our life (the first of course being the day we get Visas ) I thank everyone on the forum for being with us, as moral support, all the while that we were frustrated, anxious, depressed, curious... at every point of time... Avsneh.....thanks so much for asking....I am Okay and still in India. NDVO is not very consistent ...Param is waiting for over 3 months and Canadestin received PPs very soon without the "Med line" on his Ecas. Some people get Visas without any wait even though they have a complicated case (multiple foreign visits, change in family composition etc) and some have to wait for an eternity with a straightforward application. Ideally, PPs should be returned within a month's time (max). Mitali |

I would suggest contacting NDVO (POLITELY....of course  ) by any means ...email, FAX, CSE after every 3 days...till you receive a response. You are in my prayers Param. Mitali |
