Dear All,
Can any one of you please share with me the link to contact NDVO. I wanna inquiry regarding my PP, MR and RPRF receipt. I some how feel, these havent reached NDVO. My status is still inprocess although Medicals line has been added and RPRF DD encashed on 25th december 2011.
Request you to please share your feed backs on my situation. Should I to wait or send a inquiry.
Please help....

Hi All,
Continuing with the BD illusion.
I am waiting for my PP since mid November. My BD was on 16 Jan, and I thought there would be some movement, but nothing till date.

I just celebrated my birthday and my ecas changed to in process 3 days later. Is there a link? Someone alluded to the same some time ago.
I will take credit for that theory... I initiated that theorem about linking of BD's with the movement of file (irrespective of the stage)...now it grows STRONGER... |

I have one question ....I had a muslim ceremony in september 2010 in uk...and i applied for canadian immigration in jan 2011...However muslim marriages conducted in UK are not legally recognized in UK. And i was not aware of such...However at the time of my application i got to know that civil marriage is a MUST for registering and making my marriage legally recognized...
So therefore i was not able to add my husband at the time of my application...However in order to get my marriage legally recognized we had a civil ceremony in july 2011...
Now i am adding my husband to my application and i am extremely confused as how to explain to CHC and which date shud be put as my marriage date...
I want to use my religious marriage date on the application as now i also have a daughter....
Please if anyone can tell me if its possible for me to put my muslim marriage date with an explanation to the CHC as to why i was not able to add him at the time of application and now that i have had a civil marriage so am adding him...
PLease i need some answers...please...
Global wide.. Only marriage certificate issued by govt is considered. So, I would recommend to use Civil marriage date. Also, from your other post, I understood that you have proof for both Muslim ceremony and Civil ceremony.. I would recommend to write a cover letter(explaining the situation mentioning that you have attached the proofs) and include both certificates. I think CIC will be ok with that. All the best!! Hi friends...today when I clicked my In process line I happen to notice medical line received line added. My address still missing since Jan 27th or so. I sent my medicals on 5th Jan ...at last today it has been updated. But, my DD hasnt yet been en-cashed. I worried bcos...I declared my DMP about hypothyroid but its under control ....all other tests done were normal. Hope this waiting ends soon for all of us.

Recently, I moved out from my previous address, and how can I notify Buffalo office? I tried to make the changes from CIC online, it seems Buffalo has its own system?

Buffalo VO has its own issues with E-CAS address update system. I dont understand why buffalo has that link to update address. And, Buffalo VO itself says "Dont use the link on E-CAS to update address". Only way to update your address is by E-mail. I see that you have already done that. So, thats ok. Also, keep in mind that.. Buffalo VO wont acknowledge back(address update) unless you ask for it. Thanks, satya. |

Some concerns i would like to share...like you said i should put my civil marriage date...but dont you think in the future it can create legality issues for my child...and this would be considered my marriage date for the rest of my life...O god i wish id knew about muslim marriages not being recognized in uk....otherwise i would have had the civil ceremony at the very same time...
There shouldn't be any issues at all. Having a baby before marriage is no Crime for Immigration to Canada . All you need to have is a birth certificate for the kid which indicates parents info. Thats it. Thanks, satya. |
