Salam Guys Finally Damascus VO moved... I got my PPR on 16 Dec 2011 from Warsaw VO and they asked me to send my PP to Damascus VO within 30 days. My PP reached the VO on 8 Jan 2012 Today I got email from Damascus VO asking my to arrange with the courier company to pick the PP up from the Immigration Section, Canadian Embassy, Damascus, Syria.
So I think I'm very close to my dream  P.S. I could not access ecas since yesterday BR Saif Congrats, S_Saab!! |

An observation...
The VO picks up the file near DOB of the applicant....has happened to lot of people before, some getting DM some getting Medicals some getting a query...
even my file was picked up a day before my DOB...
just an observation...so people who's DOB are coming watch out..
Ooooh Laaa la my birthday is next month in Feb:D. Do u have any update dear frnd. |

Hey Guys, Today I just came to office and thought that Why GOD is not listening to my prayers.... Is he so busy in giving good news to all my other friends  But NO, he is so kind to me..... THANK YOU ALMIGHTY !! He had given me a good news on my B'day dated 11th JAN.... Its a present which I never forget in my life.... THANK YOU GOD....I got my MR/PRPF/PPR/PCCR yesterday from my barrister which she got from New Delhi the day before...I feel like dancing in a rain...... Thank you all the forum members to give me valuable guidance in my path..... Now, Today will take an appointment from the doc and will do in a week or two..... Congrats dear frnd. I received an email last week :-/ ecas shows nothing Rod That's still news! How did you find out?
Absolutely no word on my end! Every time I email them they respond by saying 'your application is being processed thank you for keeping correspondence to a minimum"

dear brothers, Please help, i have been struck in a difficult situation..I claimed blood relation points of my uncle but he is not living in Canada so VO required some more proof and they e.mailed me which i could not proof.. I have two question:- 1) I have M. Phil (2 years B.sc, 2 year Master and 2 years M. Phil= 18 years of education) kindly tell me will they award me 25 or 22 marks????and spouse Bsc how many points they give to my spouse??? 2) I am unable to proof my uncle living in Canada, will they refuse me or i will improve my IELTS result..at this stag they will accept my new IELTS result or Not? ?? coz if they will not award my uncle points then... |

I don't think they will hold your file for new IELTS. If you have already improved your IELTS and you can send them right away there is a chance. If not they could refuse your file if there are not sufficient points |

Rod In order to claim points for a relative in Canada, they must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident AND living in Canada. If you send improves IELTS prior to decision made on eligibility at the visa office they should consider all documents at the time they make the decision, so if you can send them an improved IELTS score quickly this may help.
Masters degree should be 25 points.
