I think RINA had a request from CIO to do with CC payment.  Is that what you were thinking of?

Hey everyone!
I sent an email to the CIO today in the morning to ask about the status of my bankdraft. Their reply seemed somewhat generic:

'Your submission is currently under review by our office. You will be contacted in due course. There is no outstanding payment issues at this time, we have received your cheque.'

Not sure, if this means it is cashed or not. I guess I'll have to wait a little longer. But after the previous email I received from them with regards to my application being complete but the CC payment not going through, It sounds like it's good news.

Here is getting some good news for everyone soon... Smiley

I sent my app end of August and was received Aug 30.
They sent an email on September 15, stating that the application was complete and in processing but that the CC did not go through. In the email they asked me to submit an alternate form of payment within 30 days. I got a bankdraft, which was received by the CIO on September 12, I think.

hey pippin it was my baby's copy of passport as of VO to include all dependents passport copy whether accompaining you or not.

Thanks for the answer Jolly.  That is a pretty important document in the scheme of things, poor little one!  Have you thought of sending a notarized copy of it with clear instructions on the envelope of the application it is to be attached to and a cover letter explaining the issue?  Hope all will go smoothly for your family.  Good Luck.

what sort of cover letter is required? can u guide with sample? it was by mistake i missed it , i meant i had it ready but after i couriered my file ifound the notarised copylying on my table, it was all coz of exhaustion and stress i had thro that time. have any suggestion plz share. Sad

Now, my query is what does this mean? Did I clear eligibility review? What is that file number above? If I cleared eligibility review, then why my application is still under review? If they are still doing eligibility review, then what is that file number? I understand they give client id to all who succeed completeness check. Can someone explain this email?

i feel whose BD's are encashed have already completed their eligibility review and i guess now they are doing some kind of background checks as mentioned in the new EG7 guide..

"CIC will also do background checks to determine if there are grounds upon which you and your family members may be inadmissible to Canada."

I wish all 'l be getting AOR soon..........

 I remember that one, somebody posted that he knew someone got an AOR but turns out to be a false alarm.. it was a case whose CC was charged, and was notified by CIO thru mail to provide the travel details in his application form.

Cool it man, you have passed completeness check and now in the queue for eligibility review, once you pass it, CIC will drop you a line so as to confirm you pass the eligibility review, so called AOR in which they will provide you Ref. No/Client ID for further correspondence.So no worry ,your awaiting AOR will soon be in your inbox Smiley

I am trying to figure out about my application pkg, so tried sending an email to SW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca
However each time I am getting delivery failure notice:
