Please update us with one important information ....... when was your BD en-cashed... as per our records (may be your bank confirmed) ...its 19th Sept .... I seriously doubt...It has to be around 10th Sept. Please confirm. Thank you.

I have contacted my previous employers and the HR manager said that there has been no call from any body about me. And there is no contact yet with my present employers. If anyone can confirm that his/her employers (or previous) were contacted, please share it here.

Stuck  @  work   . I am thinking if i should switch to a lighter job to be able to keep up with the forum Was just checking the 15+ pages since last visit and surprised with the rate of AORs per day! You guessed it right, the first crane operator brought luck to us! May the second one get us Maple leaves

I strongly believe that this verification will be done by VO.

Yes, obviously they are the best to do the background checks as always . The change is, the VO now KNOW that the application is eligible for processing(67 + points, proof of funds etc..), before the application reaches them. Yes, the CIO has assessed the applications under the ministerial instructions, and selection factors and sends the application to VO, only if it has a positive determination for eligibility. Previously the VO spent months to do this eligibility check. All they have to do now is, to carry out the background checks, security checks, about all the documents provided and then issue the medicals and Maple leaves

 i can see that we both had our application received by CIO on the same date (15 Oct 2010). Even BD encashment was on the same date(28 oct 2010). Hope our first AOR will appear on the same date. what is your guess regarding the date of AOR arrival? mine is 1st week of January 2011!!!

I tried to see my application status in CIC website typing the immigration file number that appears in my AOR email but the system does not give me any information (There is no record yet).

In the mail appears as follows:

24 November 2010
