Hi Canada121, I cant belive CIC rejected the application for not mentioning the VO correctly, the CIC should be knowing when you say it is INDIA the VO which process it is in New Delhi. Please dont give up and appeal to them about this small mistake which cant be taken as misinformation and request them to consider you application as per the earlier dates. I'm in such a shock as my application was also recieved by CIC on 5th AUG 2010 and havent got any update about the BD encashment, only God know what is happening. Regards Bindu Hi Guys,
Don't want to spoil anyone's good mood here, but just wanted to inform here that my file was returned back. The timing are as follows:
Reached CIO :5th Aug (with BD) Date of return letter :10th Aug'10 Reached my place (Delhi, India): 10th Nov'10 (3 months!!) NOC : 1122
Reason: I had mentioned Visa Office Requested as 'India'. (It should have been "New Delhi, India" )
(There is only one office in India for PR applications, and that is New Delhi. And it is not something that if I did not tell them, they can take it as mis-information. But anyways,,my complete file was back)
My NOC (1122) limit of 1000 was over by 1st week of Nov, and therefore I did not re-send my file. Had it come back in 2 months (by around 10th Oct, I had a chance. But the fact that it took 3 months (just late enough to be out of the limit), I took it as a signal from up there not to even try.
Wish you all good luck for your PR applications.. GOD Bless!!

Thanks a lot Bindu Allam for your suggestion, it was very soothing to read your thoughts. Regards Bindu hey the surgery you mentioned is quite common and your husband can be fine within a week of being operated (ive seen people who had to undergo this surgery recently). so go ahead with the surgery ASAP as he will be back to normal when the medical requests come. Also, IMO the other conditions like cholesterol and BP are not serious problems. They are neither going to put the life of fellow canadians in danger and are neither a big burden on the healthcare system of canada Regards, Bindu Allam

Ours took a few days! Ah well better late than never I guess, at least you can now be certain that your application arrived at that you passed the completeness check. Wayne.

Still only 10 categories with over 100 applications. Looking like those 10 are the only ones with even the slightest hope of reaching the 1000 cap. Pretty sure they won't get 20,000. Wayne.

Wayne.
I think they will more likely get around 10,000 applicants... On another note, it may be a good idea for us to check the "Instruction Guide" for FSW applicants on a regular basis as well... In case there are new changes For those interested, here is the link again: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.aspCam

Hey Canada121 I'm really sorry to hear that. But don't give up hope. They returned it under an a totally absurd pretext.I t's not reasonable to anyone, niether is it justifiable. Are they awaiting for the tiniest slips to lead people out of track? So,take it as a blessing in disguise. Who knows what will happen in the future. There's always a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel. Wish you luck in whatever is going to be to your good. BTW,what postal service did they use that it took thaaat long?

Canada121 I am totally shock !! I really hope you can apply under any other category now that CIC said they will add more NOC^s under the business field, I am pretty sure yours could fit into one of those and for all of those that are still filling their application one way to avoid a waiting period of 3 months!! is to add a prepay waybill envelope with the instruction to CIC to use it in case your application is return, if they dont use it well they can get rid of it but you guys may save a lot of time to correct errors and to send everything back, it may be more expensive but I think it worth ....

Dear Canada121... So unfair what happened to you!!! I'm so sad for you This is really rediculous. Pls pls don't give up because of that. You should appeal. And if you don't, so you are simply sacrifying with what is your obvious right! Please let us know that you will appeal! And dear... God bless you for what you have done with your friend. Believe that every thing is rewarded from God. our hearts and support with you, friend.
