Guys,
Got my Medical request and RPRF along PCC request from Singapore VO yesterday. Letter date is 18th July. Well, i have two a quick question:
PCC: I have my FBI and local (Bangladesh) PCC taken in March 2011. Which is also most more than 4 months now. Since i was expecting the PCC requests much earlier, i ordered them after i got my PER on February 2011. Now, i have heard that PCC is valid for 3 months. However, the letter i have got from SGVO along with MR and RPRF does not specify an expiration period. Should i just send the PCC i have with me? Local new PCC is not an issue and can be obtainable within a week; but FBI would take minimum of 2 months to reproduce a new one - which would kill my 60 days time frame.
Anyone with an insight?
Thanks,
Mamun
As far the FBI "PCC" is concerned, they may accept your certificate if you tell them that you haven't been back to the US since the PCC has been issued. Alternatively, you can re-apply for a new Certificate (have some proof that you have applied for a new one that you can send the VO as proof) and if you don't get it before the deadline write a cover letter saying that you have applied for one and will send it as soon as you receive it from FBI. You could send the FBI cert you have in hand. i think I have read on this forum that people have done this.

Unfortunately Ritu, there is absolutely nothing you can do about how VOs process files...if they say application is processed in order received, then their actions say otherwise....the only thing to do, wait....wait....wait....Mandie

There can be many reasons.....as of now il give 2 1.They looked into your file n now verifying the documents....like checking the details of the Canadian Employer who offered u job. 2. May be your file is with other Visa officer diferent from the feb applicant....for example if 10 applicants files r shared by 2 Visa officers n suppose files of applicant no.1,2,3,4,&5 are with oficer 1 and rest with officer 2 then processing of applicant no. 1 and 6 begins first.....may be ur applicant no.2 and the feb one is applicant no.6 as per the example.

hello Canadestin, Sonir
bro ur advices has helped me in keeping patience for which i gave u +1 as atleast u reply to my stupid questions. dear friends plz add me to the spreadsheet and one more question, do u have any idea about the processing of our file, when is it going to be in process, and when i can think about MR. has anyone made any enquiry about case status through mail? if not then is it fine if i make an enquiry?
with best wishes and regards ANSHUMAN
thanks anshuman for the appreciation , admins handle our spreadsheet so you will have to give your details, with an add request here itself. everybody has kept patience, i would ask you to keep the same until and unless theres some real need to contact NDVO. processing takes its own time, one cant predict anything thanks sonir

If people will focus on immigration issues and don't get involved with other people's decisions then their won't be personal attacks.
Nectar always threatened to go but always came back. Now we see the same happening all over again. Do we have twins here?
Anybody who is tired of the forum should exit and when they do, they should stay out.
If anybody leaves there will be day and there will be night and others will still get their visas.
Like someone said earlier, we don't need the police here. Let CIC do their job andif anybody can slip through their scrutiny, best wishes to them.
100% in agreement! Either don't say such stuff that you are leaving (announcing the same by creating a dedicated thread) and if said, don't return back! Some people think the forum won't work without them; don't know why they forget that it was there before they joined it and we have so many other nice and helpful seniors on the forum and I have never seen them fighting like kids!
