Hi Mark,
That is quite interesting. Do you recomend we should send our PCC before it expires ?
It's worth a shot than trying to update our PCC everytime.
Canada 1
It's worth a shot if you have a B file number. See my previous posts for details about how I obtained my B file number while still RBVO. Mark

Dear our thread members, I received Right for permenant residence fees request (RPRF) today.but no passeport request yet. It is really strange to receive RPRF request only.I am thinking of submiting our passeports with the bank recept. Need your openion about passports submetting without VO request

On 26th august last year, I started my journey for immigration. Today exactly after 11 months, I received my passports with lovely maple leaf on it. Visa was stamped on 20th July.
Congrats and best wishes in Canada

I got my B file number by including in my email (which was a change of job email) a closing line that went something like this..."I am still RBVO, but if I have a Buffalo specific file number, please forward that to me, so as to include in any job updates, and thus streamlining the process on your end." When they responded, I had a B file number. It may all depend on who is responding to the email and their mood. But no, I have only one B file number, and I am still RBVO.
Mark
Thanks mark! Congratulations to all who have recently received PER, MD request, passport request, or Visa Glad to see Buffalo join most other VOs by becoming active; hope all who are waiting get contacted soon with good news... like me Good luck all, Cam

Congrats Engy I think you should not send Passports without request, when they are ready to issue the visa they will ask to submit passports If you send without request and it took a long time what you will do?? and how will your husband leave for his work? I think you can Email them as soon as possible and confirm before sending the RPRF within the time limit given by them Good luck Architect_100

Thanks Mark^^ Congrats to all who have received good news recently! Looks like Buffalo has joined the other visa offices in processing apps.
By the way, I sent my PCC's to Buffalo before they requested. (I received a B file number in an email.) They signed for it Monday morning. I'll keep everyone posted on whether they have accepted them when I go "In Process"

No, you are eligible even if your University qualification is TOTALLY different from your chosen profession.

Thanks Mitali, I appreciate your response. Any idea if I can apply under NOC 1122 (Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management). Some of my duties tally with what is obtainable under NOC1122. Some of my duties are : Responsible for maintaining storage usage and inventory information for planning and management in accordance with organization's change management policies. Providing point-in-time sizing and usage of storage information for proper management by the organization Perform root cause analysis on critical or recurring application issues and advising the client on the best route of action to forestall further occurrence Thanks.

Hi Chuksol, If you have already researched your Job duties as required then you are good to go. I am sure you are aware that "Cut and paste" policy of JD from the CIC website is a red flag for the VO and such applications are rejected outright. One has to be creative while writing these Job duties. You can Google your NOC for JD or "Occupations in Business Services to Management" to get a feel of "Creative representation of JD". The VO would prefer about 80% of the JD as mentioned in the website. Mitali

Dear friends,
I need to upgrade my skills.....How do I insert a picture on the forum? I see the "insert image" icon but after that I am pushing all the dumb buttons and obviously not getting the desired results.

seniors, its been over 208 days at visa office, my status is in RBVO..It seems tht FSW2 are cursed. What really pills my skin is to know that half of the applicants in FSW1 category have received their Meds. I think the CIC should stop the FSW2 program if they are not going to expedite our cases.

Congrats to everyone whose status has changed, received a request for medicals/rprf/or passports!
I have a question for those of you have completed your medical exams. On the form it asks that I bring two recent passport size photos to the doctor with me. Does anyone know what they mean by passport size? Canadian passport pictures are larger than normal size and are different than the ones we would have submitted with our original applications to the CIO. Any advice from people who have completed their medicals? I just don't want to show up with the wrong size photo and have them delay the process any further.
Thanks for your help everyone!
