hi everyone...one line added in my ecas..medical results have been received..added today..wasnt expecting anything change..although meds were sent to them by doc on 30 may and they rec it on 2nd june 2011...passports+rprf+pcc has already been sent..indira/wayne/mayank/onir/other seniors any further predictions?  ? my bfd is 10th june..25th july..45 days...dont know when finally we will get our passports back... |

I have watched the video. It does seem to me to be incredibly one-sided and bias. All of the immigrants shown in the video are not native English speakers, and their English did not sound particularly great, so perhaps language was a barrier for them at interviews? And, for example, the pharmacist seemed upset that he had to work as a pharmacy technician for 4 years whilst he recertified in Canada. To me that is purely down to his lack of research if he thought he could just turn up and work at the same level he did in Iran without recertifying. I have no doubt that some immigrants will find difficulties they will have to overcome when they arrive - but I think this video paints a much blacker picture than is truly the case. Wayne. |

Yup - not everyone who s going over there will be succesful...thats the bitter truth..is'nt it? thats how it is everywhere......the best thing one can do is to go in with a mind set to intergrate completely into Canadian way of life although that does'nt mean doing the 100% things their way but anything and everything which can make us fail should be put away............by reading i ve come to a conclusion that most of the people who kind of fail over there are people who are a bit of shy of taking new challenges...start over....they believe they will get better jobs as soon as they arrive...well thats not going to happen in every case....so saying this again...best approach is to go in with your battle gear and tough it out till you get what you desire and take it onwards...
