Wayne (cappucino) can you comment on my case.
I applied first in may 2010 (pre june). Got my first AOR and 2nd AOR.
I applied again in June 2011 (post june). I haven't received PER yet.
In my ecas status when I use my first file number it shows my both applications.
1st application is "received by visa office"
2nd application is "application received"
I want to know will I get any PER for my 2nd application or any new file number?? or it will stay the same file number??
Can any body shed light on that? Whats gonna happen? Will they process my application faster as post june applicant or only consider my pre june application.
I have not received any PER for my post june application. My application was received there on 10 june 2011.

Hi, PER was taking about 5 weeks, but with the very large intake the undoubtedly had around 1st July things may be delayed slightly. I'd give it a month or so and if you still haven't had PER maybe send CIO a case specific email. Be grateful, some of us had to wait 4 months or more for our PERs when we applied:) I believe your post-June-2010 case will be processed much faster than your previous case. I am not completely sure but I think you will get a new file number with your new case once you receive PER. Best of luck, Wayne. |

yes, what they(CIO) sent on March 22, 2011 is AOR1...they send it to email given in the application. And that EXXXX is ther file number....AOR2 will be sent by VO by post.
But this much time taken by 2nd AOR is usual or should i be worried over the long break? |

no worries plz....as ong as u r able to check ur status no problem... 2AOR comes by a ordinary post....its just an acknowledgement from VO..it just says that they recieved ur file on so n so date, file number n processing time at that VO...for NDVO its 10 months. Check with you post office. |

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 9, 2011. Please consider delays in mail
delivery before contacting us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 16, 2011.
Medical results have been received (22 july 2011).
PCC sent 14 july 2011. RPRF sent 10 june 2011.
requested for 3 month extension due to unavailability of passports (passports are submitted other embassy for visa)

I have absolutely no idea. Perhaps there was supposed to be a covering letter. Perhaps they need new snaps and educational documents? I would contact them urgently visa case specific online query asking why they have returned the documents without explanation. Wayne. |
