Hi Everybody,

I have a huge problem and I am very confused regarding my application. It was received 25th august 2010 and rejected the 30th. I dont understand why I got the whole package back TODAY after two months.

According to CIO I forgot to attached my husbands passport and it is not true, I checked all documents returned and the photocopy of the passport is there (with all pages). Now they cap is reached (1122) and my application was rejected because of a CIO error.

Could anybody give some light here?. First, I am going to call Call Center and then decide what to do.... I am very upset that was not my mistake but theirs, should I make a complaint?

Thanks

Hello to everyone,
first of all I would like to congratulate Harvey for its encashment because he had same problem with me (didn't date one Form). I resent my documents to Sidney and 3 days ago my CC was encashed. NOC 0631, CC charged 5.11.10.

cheers,
ska

Thanks SKA, am guessing that attaching a copy of my cc with sign/date might have just saved my day!

Dear All,

when i send this application it was August10 at that time there is not mention Gorge street for courier svc. I used DHL. I try to send this document via Fdex but they are not agreed to send this document with PO BOX. then i tried via DHL and they agreed. for your reference please read this below link there is also mention the same addresss at that time. I'm wonder how this address change in application guide.
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t45756.0.html

While the PDF version of the Instruction Guide showed the P.O. Box address, at that time, their webpage version of the same instruction actually showed the George Street addresss - see link of another thread on the same subject below.  Another case of lack of proof reading I suppose!

Hi meialua

Sorry to hear what has happened to you... I can only think of one thing, is your husbands passport valid or is it expired? Hope you can resolve your problem quickly...

75% of June applicants on the June have now reported to have received a reply (either AOR or rejection). It's fair to assume that a few of those, especially the earlier ones, haven't actually reported on the forum - so I think we are looking at around the 80% mark of June applicants now finished their eligibility review.

Same for the May thread around 75% of applicants reported have finished eligibility review.

Not sure if CIC are just being slow with the remaining 25% or whether these are just people who haven't reply on the forum.

Either way I would say it's looking good for post-June 26 to start getting AORs by the end of November, IF CIC are not stockpiling them, as some of us suspect they might be.

Perhaps when we send our letter to CIC we should ask when they expect the FIRST post-June 26 AORs to be sent out, rather then just giving us an arbitary "33 weeks from receipt date" figure.

Wayne.

Not at all.  Your application was definitely re-routed and delivered to the George Street address if received by a Glenn Miller.  His name is one of among those, that a number of forumers have mentioned, as having acknowledged receiving applications.  Don't worry.  Cheers.

Hello there,

Welcome to the club Cool Cool. Congrats in launching your application and for sure you should make it to the cap.

1. Initially, the only thing you will know is the delivery confirmation of your package by the courier.

2. Next you can expect your card to be charged in an average of 15 days time, if it passes the completeness check, and that is a confirmation that your application is received, complete and put in queue for eligibility check. It's only after the eligibility check that the applications will be put into processing.

3. There are very little options to know if your package is heading back. In case your CC is not charged for about a month, you may give them a call and check the status of the application. It takes around a month or 2 for the package to come back to you depending on your location.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
