I am replying to your e-mail of May 20, 2011, addressed to the Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, concerning your Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) application.
I note your concerns about the processing times for FSW applications at the London visa office. However, there is little I can add to the information contained in the e-mail sent to you on May 11, 2011.
The Government of Canada treats applications from all countries equally and all decisions are based solely on the merits of an application, health and security. All applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis in each mission. The visa office in London will contact you when they need further information in order to continue processing your application.
While I realize that this situation is distressing to you, I trust that the information provided is of assistance."

After updating new mailing address visa reissued on 17-Aug and received on 23-Aug

So now logic is clear for those having Old file. They will automatically closed old file , when they are sure that applicant will get VISA under New file. As 2 cases it can be conclude. As both are " In Process" And having Medical Request.
So my Old application status is still In Process & New file RBVO. So when my e-cas changed from RBVO to In process , VO will withdraw old file.
What others says ?

Hi Mayank Correct me if I am wrong...when you log into ECAS you get to see two lines "In Process" & "RBVO" and when you click on In Process you get the old time frame and RBVO has new time line??? |

Hi Amar,
Actually its very uneasy situation for me bcoz decision has not yet been made on my new application but they
have closed old one altogether.
To everybody who has a previous file with VO As a policy matter they cannot withdraw an old application unless until they have made a decision to grant you VISA under the new file. So people who are looking at "Withdrawn"....Lucky...your VISA is on the way Cheers Amar |

I'm back Hasib, where are you  . You are a hell of a fortune teller! I thank you for your prediction  . We got decision made on ECAS. Unsure when this changed as i was sick and ooto for 10 days. Prab confirmed he saw In Process sometime last week though. I really hope this is a good news I thank all of you out here for your support and kindness.. I am now recovering from Enteric fever and was back from hospital yesterday. Feels great to see so many PMs of 'Take Care'.. This forum is so precious for me.. I wish all of us receive visas soon and fly into the next chapter of life together.. I am not returning to Chennai, until mid - June, so Prab has to courier me the visas and passports once he receives them. Thanks to Shadab for posting the good news on his thread earlier Thanks, Indira Prabhakaran. Great News Indira many congratulations !!! NDVO is really working on PP's on hold...
