But Only diff is..anil was asked at the time of submission ,and i am being asked abt 55 days after submission Dear CB I was not asked for a new Passport at the time of submision. It was almost after 25 days that they sent all the PPs back. I applied through Tatkal on 12 May and got the same yesterday .....  Cheers, Anil |

From my own experience; British Council sends your local Ielts center five duplicates upon your request.So pls go to your local Ielts center-where you took your exam- ASAP and ask them for additional copies for which you have to pay a fee of course.(It would have been free if you had requested when applying for IELTS). There are a number of universities and organizations or institutions to which your Ielts center is allowed to send the duplicates sent by British Council.If you could arrange with any of these institutions/universities and give their address to your local Ielts center as the recipient,your Ielts TRF duplicate will be delivered to them and then they could hand it over to you. Moreover, I believe in most countries Ielts centers have some arrangements with couriers like DHL to pick up your whole package to CIO including an Ielts TRF duplicate which is only given to you in their office in order to be submitted to the courier. I believe this is the service they have provided for Canadian immigration applicants in order to keep the original TRF to themselves and send out the duplicate to CIO in the same package they are sending the whole application. Actually I was advised about this method by Ielts people when it was too late to be advised.They told me it was very unwise that I had sent the only original TRF which I was meant to keep to my own when I could have used this service instead.
Anyway,as it will take some time for British Council to send the duplicates to your local Ielts Center please be quick to go to them and make a request for the duplicates.

Katy Thx Katy for sharing such information. It should be of use specially for those willing to apply I have never known that Ielts has a kind of agreement with the CIO. Neither I thought that they would work together with courier to pick up your whole package for that reason. I have to debate the fact that the british council can give a second copy upon payment because I have tried this and they never agreed on it. I would support the second choice with the arrangement with a university to collect your second copy and send it to you |

Hey Magdy and ALLBeen so busy lately. Work started picking up and it is crazy. I quite enjoy it. Embassy news were not so cheerful for us last week as they have received the medicals for half of the family members and still the other half missing, including mine (main applicant)! They are contacting London to trace them. They know my urgency to arrive Canada mid June and are trying to help. They are so positive, something that I really touched. I do not know if we can still make it on time, though. I am trying to keep it off my mind those days and focus on work. I can see that the thread is doing well with loads of news. I am particularly happy with Viktoria's case and sorry for others with NER's. I will keep you posted with further news. Cheers to ALL and keep the positive mood on Cairo, I guess its just a matter of days till they get the rest of the results. But, how on earth did you get to know from VO that they have recieved half of the medicals and the other half still to arrive ? Best of luck man! Magdy |

Oh Oh Oh, magdy!!!
I'm sorry. I'm not contributing in the forum lately because:
1) I was extremely frustrated and i didn't want to transfer any negative feelings through the forum:
(frustration  , anger  and sadness  )
2)I'm quite busy between my work and studying for some exams related to Microsoft as my online exam will be next Sunday. 
Any way, I have to share this very funny story:
Today, my wife (the main applicant) has received a phone call from Cairo VO. My wife told me, she was shocked   because instead of hearing from them regarding the medicals which is extremely delayed, the officer asked her about clarification of (what they have already asked about before) And surprisingly, they didn't open the package that contain the requested documents.And it seems that they may lost it!!!!!!:( 
The officer was surprised that we have already sent them the package. She asked about the method we sent it and what dose it contain exactly She told my wife that they will look for it and will contact her if required.
Another funny part that we have inquired three times. The first one to ask for our deadline, the second was to confirm if they have received the package and the third time was to inform them that we did not stick their labels as we have received the second AOR on 27th of April after we have already sent the package although it was dated 9th of March. And they never replied to any of our inquiries.
Even though I'm quite mad of their carelessness and their ignorance, but I'm a little bit relieved (only little) that i knew that they didn't open the package and look at the papers. Because i'm not convinced that they'll take 2months to verify them!!!
The original application was sent to CIO: 2/9/2010
PER : 21/12/2010
RVO : 4/3/2011
Call to request clarifications : 30/3/2011
A package was deliver directly in VO mail box: 18/4/2011
Another call to ask for the same things :26/5/2011
