Sorry to hear your news. when did you get this unfair NER?
As you have already sent them a Fax, i believe they will review it again
By the way, send a recent bank statement of your hubby's sis, which will prove that she is currently living in canada

If a boy and girl have the same mother and father in the world are called brother and sister. But CIO officer said he was not convinced that my husband and his sister are brother and sister, despite the same parents, and gave me NER, due to lack points.

As evidence of the relation attach international birth certificate of my husband and his sister, her citizenship Card and a copy of Canadian passport as proof that a Canadian citizen. They were required evidence to prove the relation with Canadian citizen.

My relatives called CIO and complained of this decision, but without success. Send them email, fax and letters in seeking to once again review the evidence they submitted in accordance with Canadian laws.

Does anyone have another idea that would help me?

I am very sorry to hear of this rejection. Since this does seem unfair I think you should chase it up and at least fight your corner. Please take a look at CanadaJimmy's article on my blog here:

Are you able to provide any additional proof of your husband and his sister's relationship? Family photos etc.

Dear Viktoria,

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your file been rejected after soooo long wait.    Why don't you fax them immediately,reminding them of their mistake? Please include the evidence you are mentioning in your letter and ask them to review your file and the supporting documents again. I believe a copy of the birth certificate of your mother and/or father in-law should be attached as another proof-and the certified copy should be sent later. Please don't give up so easily and do whatever it takes to prove your sis in-law is currently a Canadian citizen.

Hope there will be an immediate change for better in your case.

Thanks Kathy, I have not send them copies, I send them original international birth certificates for my husband and his sister in which the names of the mother and father, who normally are the same. Already been sent faxes, email and letters by courier. Our relatives are our representatives of the case and has 8 years living in Kanada.Ne give up so easily.

As being one of our "white lined group", getting such terrible news, the only thing I can tell you is...
Keep fighting for your right and get NER changed into PER!

Thank you Wayne very much for your blog and  CanadaJimmy about his experience. You have helped me in taking all necessary steps. I already sent all the necessary evidences, but in the letter I mentioned that I was ready to send whatever they require.

  @   chinsan, Zahed, architect_100 & cforcanada - for medicals ....... eat green and leafy vegetables .... have lot of fluids...and....and.....
  @   ind, Jignesh & Indira - for the RPRF encashment. Just have to wait for couple of days ..may be weeks.....  
  @   toothfairy & Canadian-dream - for PER .Now you have to paint yourself ... others are busy in removing blue paint / reapplying other paint ..
