Hi Friends,

New update on CIC web site for Application Processing Time.

As per the Update now NDVO avg. Aprocessing Time is 14 months. 

Insted of reducing time...now it's increasing.....

The processing times that have been updated today specifically state the Pre June processing times and the post june times are still not available ...so there will be substantial deduction in post june processing times....dont worry

Dear seniors , I have one architect fellow who is struggling to apply before June 30 or 1000 cap
his points are as the following
Age : 10 points
Education : 20 points [Bachelor degree]
Experience :21 [more than 4 years ]
Langauge -Ielts band 5.5 : 8 points [ 2 per each language skill ]
Spouse qualifications : Bachelor of commerce : 3 ,4  Points ??!!!
Relatives in Canada : 1 female cousin with Canadaian citizinship [the cousin father and mother are the brother and sister of my friend's Father and mother respectively - to be clear 2 brothers married to 2 sisters >> one couple has my friend and the other couple has the cousin so my questions:

My friend has PMP from PMI [ project manager professional ] does this give any additional points for Education?
What Exact points for spouse bachelor Degree? 3 or 4 points??
The relative mentioned above , is it considered as SIBLING and will give the 5 points??? what are the proper documents to prove the relation??

A cousin does not count as relative for immigration.

PMP does not give additional points. It may help at the VO when they assess your ability to find work. This will be at the discretion of the VO.

1. spouse bachelor Degree: 4 points (if she had at least 14 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies)
2. No points from cousin. but if his cousin's father(uncle) is canadian PR/citizen & living in cananda then your frind can get 5 points from his uncle
3. I dont think there would be any additional point for PMP. So his points for education is 20

A sibling is a  brother or a sister. Someone you share parents with including adopted and half brothers/ sisters.
