The Birth Certificate's primary role may be the proof of age, but I believe it also serves another purpose for CIC - i.e. the name of your parents.  Its likely they will lock-in their names just in case you subsequent apply for their PR under the Family Class Program, so as to prevent any abuse.  I suppose if CIC were to return any application, it would be cos either one of these information are not provided and/or not clear.

Where do we get another Birth Certificate from? incase we have lost our original?

If you are currently not in India, then you can get it from the High Commission of India of the country of your current residence.  My wife got it in that manner.

for me i introduce my birth certificate and all my familly ones also, cause in Egypt we only have birth certificate as a prove of birth date, we dn't have 10th or 12th certificate as yours.

Thats providing the last page is given.  Also it may be possible that the yard stick utilised by CIC defers from those used by the Visa Office who would be more familiar with local conditions.

I have 17 years of experience in my field.I have current employer letter with job duties,but my past employers letters have no job duties only letter ,period of job and stamp with signature.
The problem is that some of my past employer doesn't exit now.and to some I couldn't contact as am abroad.What should I do?Should I sent my past employers letter without job duties?any guidance............

          (b) Notorised copy of Birth Proof  OR something else
          (c) Transcripts - Original or Notorised copy!!

This topic has been discussed in detail in other threads AND still many members have got different ideas over this. There seems an ambiguity .... however I have a clear mindset

It is given in their instructions that the applicant 'NEED NOT' send his PCC (original or copy). The reason may be that PCC is valid for 1 year (not 6 months) ...and one's case may take more than 1 year (which is unlikely for NOW). On the other hand even if it takes 3 months or more, to get the AOR and then the file being sent to VO for processing.... one has to apply for the PCC again. It means that though validity of PCC on paper is 12 months.....but it should not be more than 3 months old when received by VO.

When did you join for your present employer? In case if the present experience is more than 4 years, I don't think you have to really bother about the past job duties. But if it is less than 4 years.....and you are looking for full eligibility points ... then it's better to contact your past employers (within last 10 years) and try to get the required documents. Still if you can't get the letters, then I feel you have to mention this  in your application.

thanx for replying.I joined my present job in MiddleEast on 26th September 2006,so in this September 2010 total 4 years?If I send my full initial application package in the end of August 2010,will it make problem as few days will left in total 4 years for present job.Anu guidance.............what to do?
