Hi m8. Ok thanks for the heads up. We're certainly intending to use the "In Person" method! We sent RPRF, updated Schedule 1s and fresh PCCs yesterday by Special Delivery. They are supposed to arrive today before 1pm, although the tracker says they haven't arrived yet (probable lag between getting the documents signed for and updating their website). Hopefully the tracker will update by the end of today. Well PPR at the start of June would be nice!  But not wishing to count my chickens before they are hatched, I will see what happens. When did you say you were planning to deliver your passports? Wayne. Wayne well i am going to submit my passport Thursday the 2nd of June, God`s will Lets see, ill update you guys And any news about James1? cheers |

danishsoomro, thanks for your concern. I have been very busy lately. The DMP actually sent my Medicals on 21st April, 2011 but am yet to hear from the Visa Office in London and my Ecas status have not been updated either to Medical received. Am hopeful that i will hear from them soon. Congrats on your PPR.

Heard nothing from James1. Our RPRF etc should have reached CHC London today by 1pm (well it's 1am as I sit and type this, so I guess I mean 1pm yesterday now!) - but Royal Mail web site tracker still says "Item XXXX was posted at YYYY on 11/05/11 and is being progressed through our network for delivery." What's the point of paying 6 times the price of recorded delivery, for a worse service? Going to be SOOOOOOOOOOO annoyed if it's gone astray! Wayne. |

It was great to hear of Majorhell's aced interview.
Wayne, its frustrating,I agree. Especially when you're so near and yet so far ... courtesy Royal Mail.
I was thinking of having a secure way to share our contacts, would be a great networking idea once we're in Canada. Any suggestions?
Was also thinking of a X'Mas / NY party this year, chez moi a Toronto, so hurry up y'all and get there soon.

I'm not far behind either.....56 days in RBVO now....54 days since 2nd AOR (I beat u there !!!! - Not proud of it though ) I wonder where Dips1213, Destined and maggi.2minutes are? They are in a similar situation and haven't posted in a while......They were quite active at one point of time..... JasonBourne Sorry for replying late to the post .. I was out of town for a few weeks I did try finding out with the Delhi VO about my application status through mail and below is the response "Under Canada's immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case. For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case. Delays in the processing of visa applications are always disappointing to all concerned, but rest assured that all efforts are being made to ensure efficient and expeditious processing of all visa applications." |
