I was also told the same. But neither issuing bank nor Canadian Bank (RBC) is able to track. I guess we'll have to wait.

added dear, best wishes

Hi Candy:

I'm open to any discussion, Wayne and I seem to have run into a dead end regarding the news released today. We both have two feasible interpretations of what the news today could mean Smiley

I was reading other boards on this forum and it seems people who submitted their applications under the old system, pre June 26, say around August or September 2009, got their Visas in 11 months. So I'm hoping that time frame could be true for us as well. Maybe in 9 to 11 months some of us on this board will be lucky enough to have our PR Visas in our passports and ready to land  Smiley

Hi Guys,

Check the below thread to see how many applications CIC has received since June 26th for each NOC. It gives an idea which NOC is going to be filled soon.

Hey Guys, New update about the 2000 CAP has alarmed me and i am back with a question that how you guys got information that your bank draft is en-cashed. i have just called on the number of Royal Bank of Canada (1-5068641555)and they are saying i cannot get any information about bank draft without the account number of receiver general of canada  Sad

Do you have that account number please share it with me so that i can check the status of my bank draft.

By the way you guys are doing wonderful job, i read all of the post as a silent member of your forum  Smiley

Keep up the good work

call the bank that issued your DD, thats what I did and it took me almost 3 weeks of daily followup on them until I got the answer.

Hi there everyone, Smiley

Congratulations to all who had their encashements recently, especially Dr. Alex.. we were waiting for this.. and truely, I was praying to hear good news about your encashement for being such a gentlemen..

Then, I am very disappointed with my bank's service.. they keep telling me that they cannot confirm any encashements and that they do not have such information in their system!! I believe that they're sincere in not knowing how to help me.. Still, I am pretty sure there is a way, it's just that the staff is ignorant of the procedures..

Anyway, my bank is SABB (HSBC saudi arabia), has anyone got suggestions?

One way or another, they will still know that a DD is encashed, my bank called their main branch and inquired, but  still, it took them 3 weeks to get the info. I was already getting impatient at one point and asked the employee if i can be the one to call or email the person in charge, but I was refused because it was an internal system.

I once said that cio will compile all the eligible applicants until they reach the limit before sending AORs and rejection letters at the same time; now, with the info at hand and the rate that is going, with only 2k applicants for processing, they might be sending AORs next week or two. Probably they are just completing the eligibility on the applicants at hand then send AOR by batch, say (July next week- August by first week of november-September by second week of november) or (per month every week July-August- Septmeber-october) or ( as a whole july-september). Who knows, but its just a matter of time and AORs will be coming out for post 6/26 applicants.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/statistics/data-release/2010-Q2/index.asp

From Jan 2010 to Jun 2010 CIC received 179,742 application for PR. Let us assume 100,000 applications were for FSW.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

as per the latest information on CAP (new rule) only 2226 application as complete  considered. Lets assume we have more a[pplications in Sept - OCT 2010. The total may be 8000 number of applications.

So 100,000 vs 2226 number of application, what a great control step by CIC, in the inward application taking process.

Hopefully they may finish the entire backlog in one year time.

Hi guys,

check this... The link below shows the breakup of number of applications received for the current 29 NOC list till 19th October, 2010.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

Regards,
mni

this msg originally pasted by MNI not me. so thanks to him.

Wow ... It seems my guess was quite good. If you calculate the percentage of NOC1122 for example, you'll find it close to one third, similar to our tracking sheet. Since they haven't reached the limit in this NOC, I concluded that the number of applications received was less than 3000.

it's been pissing me off as well that our consultant won't disclose information for the BD since we got it from them. i prefer to do the follow up myself but they said they would do it for me. i rather be the one to inquire  about its encashment coz i would gladly check on it on a daily basis.  Roll Eyes

Another fact we can conclude from these data. The average number of new applications they receive daily is merely 20. If completeness check takes a couple of hours, 5 clerks can do the job.
