Ya im Sure as I have submitted it. also u can sens form the following

Bank certification letter: if u take any certificate from bank they will mention the A/C opening date and the current balance. this is easy to find for how long u are holding balance.

Evidence of saving: it is nothing but statement of A/c from bank which again will come in date wise.

Fiexed deposit: it will be very clear that u r holding amount since when to which date it will mature.

so there is no doubt in that they will check the dates.

anyway those were my observations, I may be wrong, u have research who knows u will get some other way.

Sorry for posting this question again , please guys, give me your views.

When they say non university diploma, can we assume it to be from an institute not accredited/affiliated to any university in the country? If not, what's the difference from the university and non university diploma?

Mine is from an institute not affiliated to any university, but the diploma itself was validated by the Cambridge International Examinations UK. And upon completion, we did get a diploma certificate but it did not have any indication about the CIE UK. Ever since we were trying to get it done(at least try and get the diploma certificate attested by the CIE UK), in vain. Now it looks like the institute has shut shop(offices are closed, no phones working, no emails) and some students have taken up legal pursuit against them for abrupt closure without issuing diplomas etc.. When i contacted CIE, they confirmed that they had affiliation with the institute from 2006 to 2008(my study was from 2006 to 2007), and that all students were eligible for a diploma certificate from CIE UK, after the course. But they did not receive a complete students registration information, and so they will not be able to help me with a certificate as they do not have my name in the list. Now i am left with a certificate from the institute along with 2 semesters transcripts. Will i be able to get the 3 points under spouse education?

Hi Guys,

today's question

The university people have no idea what an official transcript is . All i was able to do is get photocopies of all the mark sheets and degree certificate and get an attestation seal from them in each copy. I was asked to purchase plain canvas covers form them and they will take 3 to 4 days to get the signature form the attesting officer who sits next door  and then give them to us without actually sealing the envelope, but with a seal through the flip on the back of the envelope. We will have the recheck if everything is OK and then seal the envelope

Is this accepted?

Transcripts are nothing but copies of ur provisionals and degree, The one u have is perfectly correct, dont open the cover once it is sealed by university. It is acceptable and dont worry.

IELTS sheet must be the origianal one.
PCC is a dilemma whether send it with application pakage or not.(I suggest you to send it)
The others could be notarised documents.

Dear yoyojaab, in addition to the IELTS result card, all others that I've mentioned are a part of the VO-specific checklist. And according to the CIO checklist, we need to send in the documents required in the CIO checklist as well as the VO-specific checklist... Please comment!

I just received back my complete application. My application reached CIO on 9th August 2010 and they processed it on 13th August 2010. They have returned back my application indicating incompletion of my application. They are not accepting date of Birth mentioned on metric certificate.

Please advice:

1. Incase of non availability of date of birth certificate from municipal coorporation - what should be submitted
2. Anyone got their application returned so far

2.- What is your NOC?
3.- I understood that you did not send an official birth certificate, it is correct?
4.- Did you received back all the Documents by courier (Like Fedex) or by ordinary mail?

Hello CB,

Very sorry to hear that Strange they have already cracked open your application and went through the documentation, while they claim they are still working on applications received before 26th June. Which NOC did you apply under and is that the only reason they returned your application? If yes, you are doing great and you can try and get your birth certificate asap and reapply sooner to make it into the caps. In the same thread, i read birth certificates are not necessary to provide, as long as 10th and 12th certificates are there. I was convinced not to send them too . Now, i decided to get my birth certificates issue sorted out before sending out the application.

Looks like the CIO is looking for every possible option to refuse and return the applications these days and we just have to be too careful

People please send out every possible document, specially birth certificates are mandatory !!

you r the 1st one I saw (applied after 26 June) who recieve any reply from them, sorry 4 returning ur file, do ur best to apply again ASAP, but let me ask u (from where u know the date of process?)

I applied under NOC 1122.

They have only checked completeness of the application. Eligibility review has not been done.

They mentioned only date of birth as not a valid document.

They returned the complete packet by ordinary post. They posted it on 16th & I received it on 23rd August.
