Letter was dated 13th April and postmark was 13th April . We received it on 14th April .

Done. Dear Admins,
Would you pls change the VO to Warsaw for me(258) and mateen(196) on the tracker? Maybe you could kindly put it as Ds/Warsaw to be indicative of Damascus applicants whose files have been later transferred to Warsaw.
By the way, as of today, my address is shown in the Ecas(for the first time).

** BREAKING NEWS from London **Headline: WE JUST GOT OUR MEDICAL REQUESTS!! Hi all - am very pleased to announce that we got our medical requests today! I popped home at lunch time to check the post, and sure enough the little brown envelope was waiting for us! In addition for medicals for both of us they are asking for: - Right of permanent resident fee - Updated Schedule 1 forms for both of us - Updated police certificates for both of us Regarding the PCCs, I assume since ours run out on 17th July 2011 they feel it's cutting it a bit close to the wire, hence why they want fresh ones. Really puzzled as to why they are asking for new Schedule 1s. The only change is that my company has been taken over and has a new name, but my job and duties haven't changed and we informed them of it. On the correspondence they sent they gave no indication why they wanted new forms. Ah well, no biggy Just very glad to get the medical requests! We're booked in for 1.30pm next Tuesday for medicals. Just thought I'd let you know asap to give hope to the scores of London applicants waiting - they ARE working!! Wayne. I was able today to check my e-cas status, and here it is-We received your application for permanent residence on October 5, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 7, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
But, I received PER on April 12th, and that's the date in e-mail too.
I don't know what happened there! But I hope that you and Victoria and everybody else who is still waiting be blue in the next few days!!!

What surprises me again is, there are 41 applicants in our tracker for London VO, and there are many who sent their applications in before you. It sure seems as though whatever their procedures to process applications are, those applications which are straight forward reach the end of processing quicker, hence medical request... As I said I believe we have a fairly straightforward application - 76 points, 8.5 IELTS score, plenty of funds, PA+spouse only, only lived in 1 country etc. I was still expecting that we would have to wait behind other people for medical requests. I understand many factors can influence it, including the speed of your individual visa officer and even how lucky/unlucky you are with brought forward date thresholds. I just hope others hear something soon, because the wait was painful enough for us, so it must be terrible for July applicants who still haven't heard yet! Wayne. |

Only Majorhell got an Interview call.......He mentioned that he applied thru a consultant.........I don't think they provide any reason in the letter as to what they are called for.......... I am wondering -- What makes them call Majorhell directly for an Interview whereas some other appicants are asked to furnish more documents/proofs??? JasonBourne Dear Friends,

I agree but some forum members mentions some others site where all the applicants who received interview all are from Consultants. I think their is an impression that agents helps for special documents to their clients. That creates question in Visa officers mind and results interview. Just my thought. |
