Guys see the quote below from an applicant in the 1122 thread.. his BD is yet to be encashed and his application reached the CIO on 22 July...isnt that strange that CC's till 27th Aug applications have been charged and not a single BD???

Perhaps add a column on the spreadsheet for whether the payment was CC or Draft? Then we can start to tell when drafts are getting cashed.

I am going to check with my bank on Friday.

Guys,

I asked HSBC regarding BD process & they informed me that when the beneficiary (CIO in our case) presents the check to his bank (HSBC Toronto in our case), it takes about 2 weeks to be cashed & then 1 week for my local HSBC branch to know that info.

Summary: if CIO requests the cashing of a DD check on 1-september, i can know nearly on 21-september  Grin

by 3 weeks, i think , we can know whether we got AOR or not?
No need to know bank drafy encashment after next 3 weeks...

someone was saying in this forum that it takes 1 week to know bank encashment..Huh

welcome Jignesh...nobody knows yet about AOR date...many people r still worried about encashmnet of fee...hopefully we can hear people getting AOR in October...

Hi! I`m new to this forum.My application was received by canada immigration on 1/9/2010.NOC is 1122,I paid through a money order so I`m yet to know if its been encashed.This is such a great forum.Going through this process is so nerve recking and its great to know there are others who are in this with you.
