Oh my God , you are so patient , i hope you got your VISA soon

my application was received by CIO on 2-sept-2010 & i hope i get my AOR & VISA within one year as they promised according to the new fast process (post 26-June-2010)

When you know about the CAIPS thread....you may be very well aware that, 2005/2006 candidates will not apply for CAIPS. It is for those applicants who are expecting their medicals / PP request. Now applicants from Dec 2003/ Jan 2004 are getting medicals..... we can expect them to apply for CAIPS...... Not 2005/2006.

This thread is for post 26/6 2010 applicants. Kindly post your request in the concerned threads and as rightly said by good member drgladiator 'Don't spam'.

Canady (and not Candy ) is a post 26/6 applicant...... here members are waiting for their AOR.... and as soon as somebody gets, you will come to know....Please keep visiting. Thank you.

People, i'm getting too much frustrated with these government officials 

They took 12 days to just type the name and give a fresh Birth Certificate only for me to find out the names are not spelled correctly .. Then they ask for another 15 days to spell the names correctly . This time lines are as CONSIDERED and so called reduced after SPECIAL considerations from us. God knows what if i don't wish to take the under the table route to get things done   . Now, I have to wait until mid next week and then go to the passport office to submit my reissue application. Gonna be away for the BC issues for tomorrow 

The more i get to see all these , the more i want to get out

Hi Indi,

Same Pinch, for me there was a lady who wanted to do everything according to the rule, which means more than one month for the correction, I was literally begging in front of her but she was all no no especially when I mentioned the purpose. Finally I had to ask the panchayath president to put a word ( by the grace of god he was related to my husbands colleague ) the lady sweetly agreed to give it by 3 pm on wednesday. Once somebody infulential intervenes the rules are all " gone with the wind".

My VO is Singapore and it says for POF:

Provide proof of unencumbered and readily transferable funds in a convertible currency available for settlement in Canada (for you and your family members):

•current bank certification letter; or
•evidence of savings balance; or
•fixed or time deposit statements.

NOW, I have the letters from the bank stating my account balance. However i would like to add my spouse account as well as we have saved some money with her account. Now is it ok to use spouse account for POF or just the PA? Also, should we not just send the letter from the bank, or should we also need to include statement? Becasue it doesnt not say so, but i have heard some of the members are sending their statement along with it. Should we send something that is not listed there??

Please advise.

didn't you realize that till now we haven't any charging/cashing for CC/DD for specific NOCs like 3131 ?!
is this just a coincidence ? or this means that they may not started reviewing those NOCs at all because if so, then the rule of "if we didn't get a feedback within a month so this means a good sign" is a fake rule

Hi aakash. yup, it's ok to the account of your spouse. It is considered yours as well.

For the bank statement, what I sent was just the bank certificate.

Why your application was sent back to you? and they gave you an opportunity to resubmit with the previous day stamp application (meant did they send you full application back or just ask for additional docs)

As far as I know, bank account should either be in Principal applicant's name or be a joint account in Principal applicant and his/her spouse's name. Bank account on spouse's name is not acceptable.
