Hi Wenstumped,
I have applied through a representative. According to him, he had already booked my file before closed a quota thats what he told us.
Sorry I missed that part. But I also do not think any immigration lawyer can "book" a place and then not hand in the full application for 3 months. Can I please ask, when did you send your full documents (either to CIO or to your representative)? And have you actually received, yourself, the PER email from CIO or are you just taking your representative's word for this? Wayne.

Hi guys,
After reading your replies, I have contacted to my representative.
Actually my application was applied under arranged employment and my brother's application was applied under category (3113) and he didn't receive any reply yet.
so my category must be FSW2 (I guess).
Sorry guys for making things confused.

I sent an email to CHC London earlier and I expressed my concern on the handling of my application. Their response was;
"Your application is currently awaiting officer review. We will contact you again as soon as we are able to. "
I'am not sure how this helps. The bottom line is still the fact that for reasons best known to them, they've abandoned the
applicants who applied earlier (July, August,...) and have continued to process the more recent applications. My status is still RBVO.
Bman.
My sympathies We are August applicants lucky enough to have been processed, but many July, August and September applicants continue to be ignored whilst January 2011+ applicants are now getting medical requests! It is just ridiculous Wayne.

John Dorry, technically you dont have to inform VO of your vacation travels. If you think you may get medicals in the meanwhile and you may not be able to get back to them in time, then you can write to VO about it. Yuo need to know your priorities and then act in accordance. If your travel is important then you write to VO about it and get a 'Extension of time'. I am not sure if they will give one.
Dear Kolhapuri, thank you very much for your answer. I wrote to the VO, informing them about my situation, in order to be fair. It's in fact an important travel, not for leisure, so I can't postpone it... Let's hope my mail will not make them delaying my file treatment ! Kind regards, John

Hi jasonBourne, It was not like that. Actually at the time of apply, we didn't finalized on which base we have to apply as heard that if you have arranged employment, it takes longer time (may be more than 2 years). But while open category is closed, he applied with arranged employment.

Hi Seniors, I would like to know about Covering Letter that we need to sent along with Passport, RPRF, PCC, Please send me if someone is having or if we dont need it , please specify About RPRF, can we get demand draft from ICICI or Kotak Mahindra Bank, if someone is planning to get demand draft in INR, what would be the conversion rate? Can anyone please send me checklist at the time of submitting PCC, RPRF and Passport , also courier services according to your experience As per my Knowledge, I have to send following document 1. Letter received from ND VO as checklist 2. PCC 3. RPRF (do i need to fill any form for RPRF or just need to attach one letter mentioning RPRF for two person, please let me know ) 4. Original Passports ( do i need to send my old passport or only valid and current passport would work?) Please let me know asap as I need to submit it before 30 Jun 2011
The cover letter that we attached with the PCC and RPRF Draft just itemised the info that VO had requested and mentioned the name of the DMP that we used here. Dont forget the reference numbers. As for the draft, i enclosed a draft in Canadian dollars as the Euro exchange rate changes so often that it is ridiculous. (Evertime someone mentions Greece the euro falls and then they mention Germany it rises again )

As JasonBourne says, how can you not know you have arranged employment? At this stage I have to ask, have you actually been to a physical job interview and seen the employment offer yourself, or is this just something your representative has told you? And if you are FSW2 why did the agent need to "book" your place at all? Wayne.

I have tried to find Shareen's post but unable to get proper message, Do u have any idea regarding it, if so please send me link of that post so i can verify. Also, All Passports meand old and new both ? Hey Bhavik,
I think all of us have submitted the DD to the ND VO in rupees. So you don't have to worry about the conversion rates. It needs to be addressed to the 'Canadian High Commission' I think victor.shareen had posted details about the DD for landing fees in the forum. You could refer that.
You also have to submit all passports.

Hi Wayne, I think I have cleared your doubt in my previous reply. I had job offer letter but becaused of duration of processing time (2 yrs to get visa), we were preferred applied under category. But as representative could not make it on time and so category is closed so finally applied with employment. He didn't book seat as already arranged employment, it was misunderstood by us. so now my details are as follows: Category........: FSW2 Visa Office......: New Delhi NOC Code......: 1122 CIO App. Received.......: 20 January 2011 AOR Received.: 17 Mar 2011

Here is the info from Shareen's post. "its enough if u take 1 DD (both u and ur spouse)...and also remember, when u take the DD
1. The beneficiary name should be "Canadian High Commission" if its in INR
OR
2. The beneficiary name should be "The Receiver General for Canada" if its in CAD
both payable at New Delhi
All the best !!!!
Regards,
Shareen"And yes, you need to submit expired or cancelled passports too.

It is just ridiculous Wayne. Wayne I have the same question, I don't know what is the criteria CIC and VO are using. In my case I sent a E-mail (May 12Th) to the VO asking for the tracking number they used when they sent me (April 18Th) the medical forms, because we haven't received them, and I have not received the reply yet.

Our medical requests were received at CHC London on Thursday 28th April 2011 by Special Delivery (confirmed), so in 4 days time it will be one month. Our RPRF and PCCs were received on Monday 16th May (actually confirmed by CHC now), which was only 8 days ago - owing to delays getting PCCs and then further delays with post going missing! Anyway, I just checked ECAS again and we still do not have any "Medicals received" line. Wayne.
