About RPRF, can we get demand draft from ICICI or Kotak Mahindra Bank, if someone is planning to get demand draft in INR, what would be the conversion rate?


Can anyone please send me checklist at the time of submitting PCC, RPRF and Passport , also courier services according to your experience

Hey Bhavik,

I think all of us have submitted the DD to the ND VO in rupees. So you don't have to worry about the conversion rates. It needs to be addressed to the 'Canadian High Commission' I think victor.shareen had posted details about the DD for landing fees in the forum. You could refer that.

You also have to submit all passports.

now my problem....my PCC complets 1 year in june..VO might ask for fresh PCC...if i surrender my old passport i am not going to get PCC from Passport office(as its mendatory to submit Passport for PCC),If i get new passport under Tatkal then Passport office is not going to issue PCC(as Under Tatkal  ppt is issued without Police verification)and i dont want to go SHO & DCP route(it takes 45 days)..any suggestions....

Hi CB,

I think they are at the point of wanting to stick the visa on to your passport and nothing else. I'd suggest you get the new PPs and submit them as soon as possible. I'm sure the VO knows you can't get the PCC without the PP and so won't ask you for it. If they needed it, they would asked for it earlier.

I have received a refusal letter from Viena VO today. The reason is insufficient points for education. I received only 5 points for secondary school(school for nurses in Serbia), six months of apprenticeship as a nurse, and I also passed registration exam in Canada on visitor visa last year so I can start working few days after I arrive there. Looks like it's not gonna happen.

Oh dear, so sorry to hear that...any chance you can appeal?

Whoa!!! You are one lucky applicant. You applied to NOC 1122 in January and got your PER? Correct me if I'm wrong guys but didn't 1122 close sometime in November??!!!

I don't wish to sound overly negative but how could you apply under NOC 1122 in late January 2011 when the NOC cap limit for 1122 was reached in late October 2010?

I have applied through a representative. According to him, he had already booked my file before closed a quota thats what he told us.

I sent an email to CHC London earlier and I expressed my concern on the handling of my application. Their response was;

"Your application is currently awaiting officer review. We will contact you again as soon as we are able to. "

I'am not sure how this helps. The bottom line is still the fact that for reasons best known to them, they've abandoned the

applicants who applied earlier (July, August,...) and have continued to process the more recent applications. My status is still RBVO.
