Went on a vacation for a week but it didn't work.......I would be happy if they put me IN PROCESS first.......then I'll complain about not receiving MR/PPR/RPRF........For last couple of days, I'm researching which TV to buy as I'm planning to ask a friend in Dubai to get it for me when he visits Mumbai next week.......I'll get it at almost half the price Jason bhai what r u doing to beat boredom created by ND VO delay in sending us MR...? |

Hi,
My child is smiling in her photo, though her mouth is closed. I tried several times, but all the photos she keeps on smiling. can this photo be used, I have seen on the website, that photos with "non expression".

In my opinion, and I am not an immigration expert, there should be no problem using the picture with your daughter smiling. After all, they want a picture of the "true likeness" of your daughter... and since she seems to be a happy child, she smiles often... which would mean that when she meets the immigration officer at landing, she would also have the same smile... further emphasizing the "true likeness" of herself... It is not your fault your child likes to smile and is happy... actually if it was me I would award you something for being a good parent...  I personally don't believe they will penalize you for it... obviously all this is just my opinion. Cam |

Please I need your advise for those who already applied for an FBI certificate. I will be applying for an FBI certificate, how long does it take for the certificate to be processed? I read in their website that it takes 16 weeks,is it really this long? Do I need to pay extra for the mailing charge so they can mail it back to me or the 18 dollars already include the mailing charge? Do I need to send a photo or the fingerprints already sufficient? I hope somebody can enlighten me with my questions. Many thanks!!!
Hi toothfairy: First time FBI certificates took two months for me, second time one month, and this third time it has been a month and I still have not received it. You don't need to pay extra, the amount mentioned is sufficient. No photos are needed, just fingerprints... However do zerox everything for your records before sending everything off. A very good morning to all my friends in India and around the world.
Got decision made from NDVO.
here are my details,
Applied to cio --oct 2010.
per--- feb 2011.
MR/RPRF/PPR--- mar 2011.
medical done -- mar 2011.
PPR sent to ndvo --- mar 2011.
RPRF encashed --- Apr 2011.
Decision made --- may 2011.
here i would like to thank people like Wayne,anil,indira,saif,qurax,mayank,katy,and many more such wonderful individuals who during their course of interaction knowingly or otherwise helped many people like myself.Thank you all. ----- malik.
p.s.----- friends i am from the 2004 ndvo applicants who reapplied and finally after a wait of more than 7 years got visa today.The main motivation for this wait was my family(brother and sister being there in Canada.) God bless you all and may grant your wishes soon.---- malik

Is not ur status "IN PROCESS"...?
