Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Hi friends,

        I see in this forum, people mentioning the date of Bank draft cashed. How can I obtain this date?  CIO received my application on 27.09.2010.
Also, if the bank draft is cashed,does it mean the application has passed the completeness check? and within the cap of NOC category?
Please let me know.

Please help me as such my file had returned by CIO on 14th sept 2010 but till date I have not received it.
What you suggest in this case. Also guide me weather I have to prepare a new file.
I am not aware about why my file has returned.
Weather we have to get our Birth certificate compulsory.
Transcript required or not as per New Delhi VO.

Please guide with full details. if possible.

You have to contact your draft issuer to check if it has been cashed and get a date.

And yes, if it is cashed it means completeness check has been done and you are at the eligibility review stage.

PLEASE read this .... (many are not doing sooo) 

This is funny. I have corrected almost 6/7 member's details who have received PER. I am talking about one particular column..i.e. BD en-cashment. Most of them had claimed between 13-18 Sept...... now as per their PER it is coming to 7 or 8 Sept.
I have sent PM to almost everyone with BD en-cashment ..... few responded. So it's a request to update us... we may get interesting details. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. Are you sure that they will send an original copy to some private company say my husband's company inside my country? I asked them when I was applying for the test about such thing and they said that they would only send original copies to international institutions. So, do you think I should tell them about the problem or just play a trick on them?

one of this forum member applied this trick and got a second one. If u find it impossible in your country then there is another option. Prepare your new application package & advice your IELTS centre to send your original IELTS result together with your application package to CIO courier address.
Pls use  fedex courier service this time.

Thank you very much Dr.  for guidance. Actually I went to my IELTS center a couple of hours ago and paid for additional TRF's to be issued by British Council and sent to Iran. They said they will not give it to me or send it to anywhere inside Iran. So my only solution is to ask them send it alone or with my complete package to the CIO. Of course they will send original copies to some international business centers outside the country as well. So I am considering some foreign business centers too to keep at least one original copy as a spare tire for a rainy day like this.

For now I have also applied for a new PCC to be issued. I will go on with the whole translation and certifying stuff when the courier declares it as lost for sure. Until then I try to stay hopeful.

And thank you again for advising me to use another courier service. Unfortunately we are under serious sanctions and companies likes Fedex do not operate from here. I don't have many options. Just TNT and DHL. First of all I wish my package to be located safe and sound and intact and to be delivered to the CIO.( It was supposed to have been counted toward cap last week and to be within the 433 announced Dec 6th  )  If I know that I have lost it for sure, I will hopefully use DHL next time.

I wonder if anyone knows the situation with IELTS and the Data Protection Act? As far as I am aware IELTS HQ is in Cambridge in England, and if their central database is held there then any data held about an individual (which I think would include test results) is subject to the Data Protection Act in the UK.

This act states that data held about individuals on computer systems must be disclosed in writing if requested by the individual concerned, so their refusal to provide duplicate sets of information may well be in breach of UK law IMO.

I didn't know that your file is being returned. I am really sorry ....just recently your name was added on to the list.
We all are here to help each other .... so don't worry. First of all you have to clarify us the matter....why your application has not been accepted (& returned) ... then only we may be able to suggest you.......... Otherwise, do you have any idea / speculation kind of thing ... or doubt on certain issue due to which your file might have been returned??

As far as Birth Cert. is concerned please see my reply # 7287. Transcript, that too original in University sealed cover IS required. ............. Keep us updated ..... All the Best.
