Dear Senior Members,

As i am planning to apply under 3131 .

I have done Diploma in Pharmacy , but i found NOC that employement requirement : Bachelor in Pharmacy is required.

Do you think that boz of this i am not eligible to apply under 3131 ? Boz to be a pharmacist in Canada one must have Bachelor ?

Please help to clear it.

Awating your reply.

Regards,

Mayank

It may depend on whether you are applying as a community or industrial pharmacist, and what the requirements are. Pharmacy I think for community pharmacists is a registered profession in Canada and therefore it may be important to get the qualifications right. For industrial pharmacist I don't think it's registered.

My wife (principal applicant) has a bachelor's degree in Medicinal and Pharmacutical Chemistry (BSc), and a Doctorate (PhD) in Pharmacy, and we're applying with her 4 years of industrial pharmacy experience.

So we don't actually have exactly a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, but she has a pharmacy-related Bachelor's degree, and a higher Pharmacy degree (PhD) anyway, so we're hoping this is enough!

It may be worth sending your visa office a question asking if they will accept a diploma for the 3131 NOC category.

It is the same way you have contents or index in any book

Give page number to all your attachments, below is the example

1.Date of birth certificate - principal Applicant (page 1)
2.Date of birth certificate - spouse (page 2)
3.Dob kids ----(page 3)
4. marriage certificate ---------page 4
5. Passport copy - applicant (page 5-50)
6. Passport copy - spouse (page (51-100)

and so on.........................

the above is not asked by CIO but what I think completeness check is a manual process for CIO . They have documents across the world coming to them, in different formats. Some time they may miss some of the documents which are already attached (the looser is only applicant as CIO may just reject and application reaches to applicant may be after 2-3 monts)

So if you have index attached they may cross verify it with your VO list that you have attached all required document. An extra effort but makes the life easier.

Hi Mayank bhayya

Yes ....  they do reply. Response depends on their work load!!! Although you will get an immediate acknowledgment (Auto reply), with 30 days response time. But one gets a reply with in 8-10 days.

Immigration File Number

You will find this number on any official document issued to you from the visa office where you submitted your application. Your "Immigration File Number" starts with the letter "B", and is followed by nine numbers. (Example: B000000000).

Since it starts with the letter "B".... then it's your Immigration File Number.....  Grin  sorry, but I don't know it's significane, maybe the seniors could enlighten us.  Mine starts with the letter "E"..... can you enlighten us,please,  what's the difference between the two  Grin

So do we with a file number beginning with "B" indicates that the eligibility review is passed and that your application is ready to send to visa office?

FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry  @  cic.gc.ca is the email address for queries.

The FSW-Centralized_Intake-Office  @  cic.gc.ca address is a one-way email address for receipt of notifications from CIC, it cannot be replied to.

Now you have your PER you will have a file number and your application should be on its way to visa office. My advice would be to send a letter to your visa office with your file number explaining the error in your address and giving them the correct details.

Remember that any errors in your permanent address could lead to correspondence from visa office failing to get to you, such as medical requests.

If they don't get your address right you may not even get the request for PCC, so I would advise them at the earliest opportunity of any incorrect information.

Case-specific queries at visa office can take up to 30 days for a reply (although often they were within a week), so I wouldn't expect anything too fast.

Cheers,
Wayne.
