Yes, mine also went by DHL and the same way it showed on the tracker. my package was also signed by Paul. It seems alright as my CC was charged subsequently and nothing came back. Waiting for AOR as most of us.

Yeah, we were pretty worried when we saw "Delivered in Halifax" (we also sent ours by DHL), especially since the courier address is George Street and there IS a George Street in Halifax! But I phoned DHL and they confirmed it was delivered to Sydney it's just they track the last depot which is in Halifax. I guess in Canada the depots are quite spread out. Ours was also signed by Paul, and our bank draft was cashed so it must have got to the right place ;p Wayne. |

I just got to know from my lawyer that CIC regonizes Marriage certs also for birth certs which means that people who have not sent their BC's and are unmarried are the ones who are getting thier applications returned.

As we see the influx of applications are decreasing by the day in the FSW category especially post 1122 reached its cap. I am certain that the applications rec'd by them till mid October will get the answer by the end of December or by 10th of Jan latest. Don't see going beyond that.
I'm certain CIC will have not much work to perform for post 26/6 applicants from March onwards as most of the popular NOCs will be over and others aint giving them numbers though there is one CRANE Operator now in the queue.

Friend, I think your consultant / lawyer is wrong, there is no alternate for Birth Certificate specially if you are from India, CIC does not recognise anything apart from Birth Certificate (BC), I had waited for approximately for 8 months to get the BC via court order, else if that was not required I might have allready got the PR visa as I would have applied much earlier. Thanks ENVIOZA..... i belong to the Sept group though my application was sent to back to me twice due to some tiny details..... I hope we'll get all of our AORs the soonest..... my NOC number is 1233.....
Its good to know that NOC 1233 is also increasing, till yesterday I was sure there were no applicants for this Code but now atleast there are 2 and one soon coming, on thiw forum. Best of luck to you. |

The irony about this Canadian Please video is that it was filmed in London! Pretty good though. They wrote+recorded the song in one day (the guy Andrew wrote the music, the girl Julia wrote the lyrics) and then did the shoot for the video the next day. So the whole thing went from conception to finalisation 2 days! Shame the visas aren't that fast... Wayne. |
