thnx kolhapuri, yeah i can agree with you. they may be processed the new applications in this new (10-2010) system.
There is no great change in the way of applying or the documentation, after the 26 June changes are announced. The only exception and confusion were the PCCs. Irrespective of whether an application includes or excludes the PCCs, their applications are considered for processing right from 26th June 2010 to today. The reason is first they needed a complete documentation package, including the PCCs with the initial application to make the processing faster and more effective. Then they started to realize that it might not be fair for some applicants to wait until they get the PCCs from certain countries(where they take as long as 6 months to issue PCCs) with respect to them entering into the 1000/20000 cap for the year. So, they said ' Do not send the PCCs with the initial application - They will be asked for at a later stage'. Now, that they actually see so many people sending PCCs with their applications, they decided to make it optional. It makes their life easier if they have the PCCs too with the initial application. This will also shorten the overall processing time, as they can only request for PCCs after the eligibility check and that we will take some time to gather PCCs after that. This time(anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months) will be shaved off if we submit the PCCs with the initial application. Long story short, there is no big change in the application or documentation process for FSW since June 26 for this year. Thanks, Indira Prabhakaran. |

I just got to know from my lawyer that CIC regonizes Marriage certs also for birth certs which means that people who have not sent their BC's and are unmarried are the ones who are getting thier applications returned.

*There is one entry saying Cario Aug 19 AOR received. I am fairly sure this is a typo and that it should be Oct 19.
Also if you look at the May list, which is ordered by AOR, you can see definite patterns - surges of AORs for New Delhi, and later on surges for London and then Manila, Damascus and Buffalo etc.
So it seems likely that AORs are sent out in batches clumped together by visa office.

Yes, mine also went by DHL and the same way it showed on the tracker. my package was also signed by Paul. It seems alright as my CC was charged subsequently and nothing came back. Waiting for AOR as most of us. Cheers. |
