this was the answer from the ND Visa office, please refer original post:

Hi Coffee – Saw that post too.  Definitely the reason for belize's rejection and CHC's clarification contradicts each other – as can be seen below!

I appeal and again they reject my appeal what they written on letter here are below para.

For your information other NOC codes were not considered as they are not in the list of approved occupations according to the ministeral Instructions of November 28 2008, Should you have different or additional information, you may wish to submit a new application for Permanent Residnece in Canada.

In minister instructions clearly says if ONE NOC code match all NOC should awards the points as long as fall in skilled A O & B, I don't know embassy make own rules they should follow the minister Instructions but they are not doing that. I got 66 points but if they count all my work experience I should get 71 Now I dont know what should I do I sent them Link from CIC web site but still they not agreed. I worked so hard in my life and gain all experince but they are not giving me points. Just looking for Justice I follow all minister Instruction but Embassy Not.

HERE IS SOLID PROOF.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

In order to be found eligible for processing by the Centralized Intake Office in Nova Scotia, Sydney, you must have at least one year of full time or equivalent employment in an occupation listed in the 38 NOCs under Ministerial Instructions.

If you are found eligible, your file will be forwarded for processing to a visa office.  During processing, you will be awarded points for experience in any A, B or O  occupation as listed in the NOC, even if it is not one of the 38 NOCs listed under Ministerial Instructions.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Canada immigration good for nation's prosperity

The findings of the report by CBC (Conference Board of Canada) state a direct relationship between the nation's prosperity in areas like business, culture, research and global commerce and immigration in Canada.
The study also maintains that immigration to Canada also aids innovation. This is due to the fact that ambition to move to a new nation helps them to take risks leading to innovation, the author of the report, Michelle Downie states.

Ambition drives immigrants to go beyond their expectations by working harder and pursuing more and more, adds Downie. Hence, immigrants in

Canada were directly responsible for increased innovation in the country.

It's already well known that immigrants in Canada are going to become an integral part of the workforce of the nation as the laborforce heads for considerable trimming following retirements of baby-boomers in Canada. But, the nation is yet to accept the valuable role played by immigrant innovators in Canada, the study reveals.

The report suggests exceptional role played by immigrant innovators in Canada in the fields ranging from arts to business to science.

And business leaders need to learn and acknowledge inherent characteristics of newcomers in Canada who prove to be of great benefit to their employers in Canada.

Moving to a new nation requires ambition and real drive and this factor in itself is one of the exceptional qualities of new immigrants that encourages them to take risks, adds Downie.

After immigrating to Canada, a new immigrant sees things in a different manner thereby perceiving things in a way that other Canadians often lack.

A few examples of successful immigrant innovators in Canada can very well prove this fact.

The man behind Magna International, Canada's largest auto-parts company, was Frank Stronach, an Austrian immigrant. Mike Lazaridis, Another immigrant in Canada hailing from Turkey was responsible for founding ‘Research in Motion', regarded to be the most successful Canadian high-tech company. And the fact that one of the world's biggest gold-mining company was built by Peter Munk, an immigrant from Hungary says it all.

Yeah but somehow I think a post-June-26 applicant getting an AOR would be even more interesting and motivating! If they've done the eligibility reviews on all the applications received up until the end of August, why are they so slow sending out AORs? If they spent several hours doing an eligibility review, don't think it'd hurt them to spend 5 minutes emailing out an AOR Wink

I suspect that they are sending AORs for those pre-June applicants whose CC/BD were encashed end of August. I am sure, our AORs will follow end of this week or early next week.

Hmm that may make sense. If it's end of August encashment date, then I believe the earliest post-June-26th encashment date was around 6th September. So that would mean we could expect them to start sending AORs next week (plus whatever delay is involved in sending AOR. Does the actual immigration officer doing the eligibility review send it or do they memo some admin person to do it?).

Canady, I believe you said you were going to call CIC again this week. Can you ask if the dates they are quoting for processing (they said 27th/30th Aug to you last week) are application received dates, or encashment dates?
