Hi Guys, Please could someone confirm how many number of signatures are required for the whole application set? 1. CIO checklist end, 2. VO checklist end, 3. Schedule 1 form, 4. Additional Family Information form, 5. All attached extra sheets. Is that all ? The complete package is ready now and getting very nervous Thanks, Indira Prabhakaran. Indira, there's no specific space for signatures in the end of both the VO and CIO checklists; I didn't sign them... do we need to sign them??? I am getting worried!

Indira, there's no specific space for signatures in the end of both the VO and CIO checklists; I didn't sign them... do we need to sign them??? I am getting worried! I read that 'All applications have to signed and dated, without which they are deemed incomplete and will be returned', and this i read in between the lines and thought by default the Application package has to be signed and dated. There is obviously spaces for signatures in the schedule 1 forms and the additional family info forms, but what for all other forms? I guessed the best place to indicate the signatures for all forms would be the checklist , but this is my wild thought and guess.. Just don't want to miss out in case they meant it. So, the only places you have signed is the 2 forms and extra sheets? Thanks, Indira Prabhakaran.

At least my BD has been charged; let's see what happens next! Do pray and wait for the seniors to reply

Need not to worry, may be few amendments were there after Aug 2010. If you have not signed and have been charged CCor BD no need to worry, In any case you can not do anythhing now. I didn't sign on the checklists. Let's see what seniors have to say about this! At least my BD has been charged; let's see what happens next! Do pray and wait for the seniors to reply

- YES Only in these two places. AND if there is any Clarification/Explanation letter is attached to any speicifc section, then this letter also need to be signed with date. In case of any Affidavit is attached, recheck all the signatures there as well.
Thanks,
Indira Prabhakaran.

Oops, just saw this one "Follow the instructions below to determine where to submit your application. Put the completed forms, supporting documents required by the CIO and fee payment in a 23 cm x 30.5 cm (9″ x 12″) envelope. On the envelope, list the NOC codes in the order of preference according to question 12 of the Schedule 3 — Economic Classes — Federal Skill Workers form. Send your completed application to one of the addresses shown below." My worry is i have a bigger envelope with the UG degree transcripts(yes the university guys just put it in a normal A4 size cover) sealed. So, thought of a much bigger envelope to include all the documents. Should i be concerned ? Also i thought of a water proof cover which is bigger as well. Please suggest if it's mandatory to comply with the envelope size requirements Thanks, Indira Prabhakaran.

Dear All Thank you all for wishes on my landing. As you all know that I have started on 6th of October. When we reached Hyderabad Airport and on BA counter they have checked all documents and passport before issuing boarding pass. They told me that it is mandatory to check all travel documents before issuing boarding pass, it took 10 to15 mins to get boarding pass , BA is very strict for checked in baggage so be careful if someone is traveling by BA to keep luggage with in limit, one more thing if u have extra bag pay online u will safe lot, for each extra bag it will cost INR2272.
Immigration was very easy as BA has done their job of checking all travel documents. BA flight was really comfortable, we never felt that we are travelling on economy class and aircraft was really good, in flight service was also good except they were not helping with hand carry I heard that they were telling to passenger if u cannot lift your handbag then you should not bring.
Food was really good, We have selected Vegetarian meals, it made difference when we travelled from London to Toronto they provided us with special veg meals as there was lot of ham.
Hyderabad to London took 11 hrs to reach but time has passed just like that. Now we landed at London heathrow, we passed security check without body scan, but most Indian has to pass through body scan, reason is they were wearing one or other things, if metal detector beeps then the staff was sending for body scan, so I suggest If you don't want body scan then remove all things pass it through scanning machine, for sure you will skip body scan.
LHR airport is very big, tired of going, going and going, after that we boarded train to reach our gate for next flight. We had only 2 hours stop over and time passed very fast.
Now boarding from LHR to Toronto, BA staff again checked our documents, and told me that documents are good to travel, we boarded and landed on Toronto Airport at 6:25 PM, again walk walk and walk it took 15 mins to reach customs at Toronto airport. Custom Toronto crossed our embarkation form as asked us to proceed to immigration, 8 to 10 counters were working on immigration, and I was closely watching and found that immigration staff were asking lots of questions with new immigrants, so my throat was dry to see all these, while watching all others I made my mind that how should I deal with immigration, now our turn came after waiting 10 mins been on counter and wished and told him that I am here to complete my landing, he asked me how much money I am carrying with me? I told him right figure and kept my bank draft in front of him and asked him if want to count cash that im carrying with me, he replied no sir I don't want. He checked all COPR and asked me is everything perfect in your landing paper, I replied yes I read it carefully before travelling. He asked me to go and sit on the chairs, meanwhile he will complete paper work for us, it was 200 meters far from counter we went and sat, after few minutes it surprised me immigration officer him self came to us and inform me that he has completed paper work and asked me, sir follow me with your family to my counter.
When we reached there he asked to sign on landing paper they took three signature on every signature he was encouraging us and telling us perfect...... after completing our work he stood from his seat and told me that from now you are PR of Canada...... and asked me to go to other counters to get info about Canada... I am really surprised the way every one was getting respect from immigration people and warm welcome everywhere.
Got all the paper and info from welcome Canada, been to luggage belt and found my bags, took porter for 12 bags they charged us CAD 26. Remember nothing is free here in Canada and you have to pay CAD 2 for each trolley if you are operating it by yourself. If not, CAD 10 for 3 bags with porters.
Now customs they asked me sir do you have any goods to follow I replied no, while walking we cleared customs as well. My niece was waiting outside came to Markham and decided to go in morning to service Canada office, for SIN. Even though we were tired I decided to wake up early morning to go for SIN card, went there as planned early 8:30 in the morning we were first in office, got it done in 30 minutess and came back.
I am really happy to see how people give respect to immigrants, my kids were nervous while leaving India now they don't want to leave Canada very fabulous country to live good life. No pollution not much population.
Today I got cell no. from ChatR a subsidiary of Rogers I got good deal from them without any legal bindings. While coming back have seen some flats as well in Scarborough good flats single room flat is costing 1100 will let you know once I hired one. Monday is holiday here for thanks giving day, Tuesday I will be going to down town Toronto to activate my bank account with Scotia Bank, as we have opened it in Hyderabad only.
That's all for now will let you know all as it comes. Cheers FMA
