My case definitely prove two things:

1. As of October, 2010 the quota is not full and NOC # 1122 is still accepting applications
2. CIC try to charge your card twice, if first attemp is declined.

somebody few hours ago published that he had his AOR sent to him yesterday. I guess his name is positive if i am not wrong. Now i cant find the comment , so any news about this subject !

Congrats  @ Maani1985, I am happy for you with your CC being charged finally.  Glad things worked out for the best.  Let's hope things work out for the best for each & everyone of us.

Ive read in one forum that this applicant was rejected by CIO after charging the payment due to his/her job description thou he/she is pre june applicant and his/her CC was charged last august.. Hmpp I think everyone is not safe until they recive their own AOR.. Hope we could recieve our AOR asap.. It cause me sleepless night...

Everyone is not safe until we get the precious VISA stamped on our passport or just a PPR. Even if we have AOR, its still not that safe, I think.

I am not very hopeful of any e-mail from CIO, but I sure strongly hope they try Maani1985's CC once again atleast.
The reason I feel so is, that his file was already returned very recently for payment issue with his CC (They SHOULD think on why any applicant will re-send his file just to be returned for the same reason!!)

Also, CIO should know that this problem does occur and banks do refuse for once, fearing fraud transactions. Another attempt to encash normally succeeds, so they should try at least once more.

Guys, one last minute question before i send out my application today. My spouse name is "Tahmina Akter Ratna". Now, we need to provide only Last name and Given Name in the application. I was thinking to put Last Name = Ratna and First name = Tahmina. But one of my friend who has similar situation says that, Given name should be  = Tahmina Akter. I was thinking Akter as middle name. But there is now way to put middle name in the application.

My friend is telling me that its cruical that i put both Given and middle name at Given name as there is no middle name. I have checked my previous US visit visa in which i see they do exactly follow the method as my friend suggested.

Seniors, please help me to finalize my application. I am confused!!

Yup there was ...
(1) Initially the whole process (though what exactly IS happening -- Nobody knows) was predicted / assumed by Indira ... that is I think in the first 10 pages of this thread... will try to get that.....
