Wayen & nzds05 opinions make sense & i want to add something from my own opinion:

According to the encashing & returning of some applications, CIO definitly have a team to process post 26-June but that team is working so fast to fill the cap so as to announce the expiry of the submission oportunity so as not to receive thousands of applications which will cost them much more time & effort to return them back.
Beside that I think they will take more than 20000 applications without announcing (based on their previous expirence, they may take extra certain percentage) because many of the accepted applications may be rejected on later stages (ex. medical checking) & of course they will not re-open the submission again after they have already closed it, that leads us also to think that they are doing more than completence check (some sort of eligibilty check) as nzds05 said to insure the eligabilty of the majority of the applications.

That is my personal opinion.

I really hope that post june 26 has different timeline than before..otherwise what they  did was just remove the 9NOC from last year and a complete set of photocopied documents. I hope also that they have different teams working on post june 26, because if not, some of us will be added on the previous baclogs..Lets all Hope and Pray thats all what we can do for now.

I imagined myself working for the CIO - department understaffed, having to process thousands! of applications piled up trying to figure out how to cope with huge backlog and further incoming applications (just like an oil well that you cannot shut down). their major interest is more likely to finish job and come home, that's it! just like the majority of us would do own job: little emotion - more things done - day finished - go home!

I would not even think of what they think about what we think or desire  Grin in the end of the day we made our effort and submitted things, you know where the result is!
You have a point Coffee. On the other hand, dealing with people is quite different from dealing with machines or numbers in that some understanding of their concerns and respect for their time must be shown. When you go to Canada you'll see how customers are treated and how promises are respected everywhere, despite the high workload. Nowadays I apply for admission to some universities and can notice the difference. Having an efficient and customer-friendly processing and tracking system is not rocket science. They just need to consider us customers that deserve better service quality, in this lucrative business where you pay around $1000/applicant for few hours of paperwork . And as said before, updating the website with some info useful for the applicants won't take more than 5 minutes, and definitely won't take more time and effort than the regular useless updates posted on the same website.

Hi All.  This is a summary of the data at https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AiJy8Qu8lcQbdGxiSnNhME5sVi1uRlZtUWNhOEFwemc&hl=ar&authkey=CLDXsFA#gid=0.  While it does show something, I believe its still too early to interprete the results.  Cheers.

Hi Temasek:
The start of an interesting analysis, but is it possible the numbers have dropped down one row?  I thought we had one 0631 applicant and there are no numbers across from that NOC code.  Will wait to see how this develops.  It is fascinating to read all the different theories.  Thanks for doing this for us.  Cheers.

Have you been encashed? or because you pay by Bank Draft you dont know if they encashed you or not.
you r welcome !
i contact my bank on daily basis for my Bank Draft, but it has not been cashed yet, just waiting....., i think CIC is not working on their "first come first serve policy".

Hi smiler 11, the "agent" you are referring to, is that an immigration consultant? And if yes, does he/she not have more information on how the screening process áfter 26 June works and how far they are with the processing of applications. ANY information would be helpful to us all sitting here in agony! Smiley
