Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Hey people,

With respect to the proof of funds, would a letter from the bank manager stating the current balance do? The thing is we are planning to show the money in our OD mortgage account, wherein, our overall balance would be always in -XXX.XX until we finish off the mortgage. But the available balance can be anywhere between 0 and the total loan amount. We can get a letter from the bank stating our available balance, but if we take a statement, it will also show the current balance in -XXX.XX, and available balance as + 10 lakhs.

Long story short, We can put this money into another ordinary account, but the advantage here is if we maintain the same 10 lakhs in this particular account, we will not pay mortgage interest for the amount that we are maintaining, the 10 lakh rupees. The mortgaged flat is in my huby's name, and we can arrange for a property valuation to back the mortgage loan and sign a affidavit stating that we will sell this flat once we are through with the PR and plan to move to Canada.

Fair enough? Or would it be too complicated?

People, we do not want to take chances , we have decided to transfer the money to my savings/salary account and get a latest balance certificate from the branch manager. It's worth doing this as our fingers are crossed too much already

Prior to this what u said is not valid in Canadina immigration good go ahead and transfer ur funds to saving account and produce ur A/C statement along wtih application.

one more thing if ur previous account shows u balance of 10lac without loan account that will be very nice bcoz ur a/c standing is long. anyway i hope ur saving a/c is also not new. remember take statement from the date of opening a/c it will be helpful to show them that ur financial standing is long.

Hi FMA,

Yes, the savings/salary account of mine was opened about 4 years back and we are going to transfer the funds into that account. Also do you have any idea about will they accept the tatkal system for reissuing passports or is it just for fresh passports? not sure, fingers crossed I have my appointment with the passport office tomorrow

Yes my cousin got his passport renewed thru tatkal at hyderabad PPO last month. hope they will accept urs too. go ahead n try hard to get it done in timely manner.

Was your cousin applying for a renewal upon expiry or a reissue? If it's a reissue, what was the purpose? Just wanted to know what are the documents required for a reissue in case of change of name and place of birth.

Also in case of tatkal, do we have to provide that verification certificate affidavits also?

It was renewal and correction in his fahter name spelling im exactly not aware which documents he submitted for it, if i could contact him iwill let u know details but u have an appointment tommo and it will be difficult to get details ffrom him right now as im abroad and will touchdown hyderabad nxt week only to prepare fr my landing on 7th oct.
