Today is 28 august 2010, the 1st fact we should know is " Don't expect any relpy from CIO before 45 days from your app. Recieving date". As the first recieving date in our table is 11 July and still no news.
Dear guys who hav apps. recieved by CIO on July (I'm one of them)... Keep updating us with any news from CIO, regards.

If CIO starts with post 26 June application on 30 Aug 2010 then I do not thinks we have any update before second week of Sept. I understand there is a time gap in first process and issuing AOR, may be 1-2 weeks min

Who said that they didn't yet work on apps. after 25 june, they only said that informations on processing time is not yet available. Also, they said that for apps. recieved before 26 june, they r working on apps. recieved up to 25 june. I think they started working already on new apps. after 25 june, but it may take more time than b4 to issue AOR, i'm with u, i think we should hear something from them within 2 weeks, regards.

My thoughts too. The CIC web site always cited with regards to current processing status states the following. “NOTE: Processing times for Federal Skilled Worker applications received on or after June 26, 2010, are not yet available. For applications sent before June 26, 2010, the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is currently working on applications received up to June 25, 2010.”There is no need for a special mention of an “on and after 26 June 2010” if they are not processing them separately. It is likely that they have already started the 1st and the 3 stage process of completeness check; eligibility review; and selection and admissibility.

There is a confusion what does processing and working means as per CIC website What I understand Working : Ist round of application review Processing: II round - getting seniors approvals for AOR My thoughts too. It could very well be. I am however inclined to believe that it refers to the start of the process, when comparing the date given by CIC in its website vis-a-vis the status timelines provided by fellow forumers in the "May, and June Appliants" threads.

Dear FMA Please rectify my data my application was received on 19th July
According to Fedex and I think all courier would do the same they mention the person who signed for receiving applications, so I think it may be a good opportunity for us if we shared this data so that everyone would be sure that his application was delivered to the right place.

In pre 26/6 process all the documents were required to be submitted to VO once again, a time period of 120 days was given. The transfer between CIO and VO was more on electronic data exchange then the letter. I understand it used to take long time due to postal delays.
Now in new process post 26/6 the file & documents have to be physically transfered between CIO and VO. As CIO uses normal post so would it not have much postal delay between CIO and VO. What is the time reduction benifit CIO acheiving here.
Is it just the document collection time? The process time remains the same.
