Dear all,
           Please let me know, when send initial application to CIO, how many photo copies of each document are required?
Secondly, I came to know that we also have to accompany all original documents. Does it mean that it makes two sets of documents? One for Originals and One for photo copies.

Im 1000% sure I have not submitted nither mine or my wif's birth certificate relax and send notarized copies of ur certificate hope ur date of birth written on ur 10th certificate. Make sure of it...

for ur son u need to translate it in English from authorized translator  if u cannot get it from ur Municipal corporation again dont forget to notarized it.

dont change address in passport and try to keep communication address same as passport as there will be no confusion.

Yes u have to take PCC from ur permanent address and go ahead for that.

some update should be there (CIC website)  in few hours where they have reached last week, i hope they would open the packets for  25 June in this week

When they say non university diploma, can we assume it to be from an institute not accredited/affiliated to any university in the country? If not, what's the difference from the university and non university diploma?

Mine is from an institute not affiliated to any university, but the diploma itself was validated by the Cambridge International Examinations UK. And upon completion, we did get a diploma certificate but it did not have any indication about the CIE UK. Ever since we were trying to get it done(at least try and get the diploma certificate attested by the CIE UK), in vain. Now it looks like the institute has shut shop(offices are closed, no phones working, no emails) and some students have taken up legal pursuit against them for abrupt closure without issuing diplomas etc.. When i contacted CIE again, they confirmed that they had affiliation with the institute from 2006 to 2008(my study was from 2006 to 2007), and that all students were eligible for a diploma certificate from CIE UK, after the course. But they did not receive a complete students registration information, and so they will not be able to help me with a certificate as they do not have my name in the list. Now i am left with a certificate from the institute along with 2 semesters transcripts. Will i be able to get the 3 points under spouse education?

Dont send any orginal to CIO except IELTs's they dont ask origianl  for ur academic certificate.

I understand local VO has all authority to call up bank - call centre and get the information verified.

Few months back I read a case in Newspaper some one submited false info to Germany embassy. The embassy got it verified and later reported to police. applicants (husband and wife)  have been put behind bars
