Am I the only one from the Buffalo FSW2 crew whose application is still processed in Buffalo. I sent them an email and got the standard response : "Your application is in process in Buffalo. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete." Same frustrating response. Almost 18 months in. Preparing a CEC application and I plan to send it early June.

I need to go to ndvo to ask whereabouts of my passports... Guys gimme tips n advise.. I know they don entertain prv applicants, but there is no other option left.. It has been more than six months since my meds now... No reply to queries, no correspondence.

Thank goodness you have finally taken my last advice. 

You tried everything that was possible in your capacity and this is the LAST thing that you can do.

We all know that NDVO does not entertain any meeting with them. But there is atleast one case wherein the applicants had gone to NDVO (at Shantipath) in the morning ( I will confirm the exact timing for you). They had tickets booked and they had been waiting for PP for more than 3 months. They were asked the details of their case and they got their PP with stamped visa after 3 hrs.

Please also contact Anil.....I will let him too.

Please take all the docs pertaining to your case including your last GCMS notes and the recent one too (if u get it before the PPs arrive).

For applicants who do not have a Canadian address for PR card delivery

This is for friends who do not have a mailing address in Canada where their PR cards could be delivered. The UPS Canada provides a mailbox which has a Legal address instead of a mail box number. Your mail can only be retrieved by you or by a person authorised by you. The tricky part is, if the PR card is not delivered to you (if you happen to leave before they arrive), then you will have to make special arrangements/procure travel documents when you plan to return to Canada.

I am on the same boat as yours..No luck for us.. Atleast by June we might see some progress.
Anyways I am also thinking to apply CEC by this month end...

It says on the ecas page that it may be out of service intermittently as they have some tech difficulties or site may be updating.
I tried couple of times [with few hours interval] , it timed out at first but worked the last I checked.

Just a caution : If you use this option then you will have to get VALID TRAVEL DOCUMENTS WHEN YOU RE-ENTER CANADA.

But if are just planning a vacation in Canada (various destination) and not leaving Canada ...then yes , its the PERFECT Option.

Congrats for ur DM status. Mine got updated on 7th May but without canadian address. 

pls. inform have u got canadian adress as well in ur status.

As far as I know Saahil does not have the Canadian address as yet... And also, it is sometimes updated later... like my DM was on 31st March and address came in around 6th April or something... so no need to worry abt it Best luck...

HELP NEEDED
can anybody tell me how to obtain GCMS NOTES as i dont want to get CAIPS as i heard GCMS r more authentic and upto date.
www.caips.ca i know but dont know any good site link for GCMS

if you have a friend / relative in Canada, you can apply through him / her... Costs CAD 5 and you get it in 35-40 days and else lawpoint.ca is good... Costs CAD 25 and takes about the same time... Good luck!

just got this response to my e-mail inquiry from Buffalo:

application filed 22-11-2010. Wondering if l am actually 'in process' or just in queue for review?

I think means it is in process
