It's just so obvious that this is a sheer deceit in every way... Hope it faces a lot of protest and JK feels like the mad man that he is turning out to be - enough to make him reconsider all these insane whims!

Hi BhaktiUjjwal:

That is what I have been saying all along. We need to spread the word around so applicants become informed and aware of what is about to happen to their applications, so our voices and displeasure rise and are heard... it will be too late once the changes have become law.

Just my opinion,

Hi guys,

Along the line with our on going discussion about CIC's proposal on changes effecting FSW, I did some back of the envelope calculations about excess demand and excess supply of the current 29 occupations based on the URL: http://www23.hrsdc.gc.ca/w.2lc.4m.2    @    -eng.jsp. HRSDC project the figures in the period of 2011 and 2020.

The figures may not reveal much about the 4 digit occupation code since HRSDC only project job demand and supply figures based on first 3 digit. In many cases, it means the figures only reflect a bigger group of occupations as a whole, not exactly the occupation in FSW list. If you guys know better resources to calculate the numbers, please tell us. Though I am not a fan of quantitative studies and I am not sure how precise HRSDC projections are, it seems that CIC will rely on these figures to decide which occupations will get priority or be left behind in queue. For example, as some of you guys said before, CIC'll prioritise applications from doctors as it said in the press release on its website. All three doctors' NOC codes 3111, 3112, 3113 belong to "Physicians, Dentists And Veterinarians", which is projected to have 10,097 jobs unfilled due to lack of job seekers between 2011-2020. Surprisingly, cooks, chefs, plumbers, welders are not foreseen as occupations in high demand at all as expected.

Personally, I find Kenney is too rational to become crazy when he proposes the changes based those dry figures to decide the fates of genuine applicants. But I won't be startled if CIC proposal for those changes is approved given what happened with pre 2008 applicants. In that case, those occupations in excess demand in HRSDC predictions will go into process faster.

you have to go for aplication inquiry for Case specific inqury on cic.gc.ca at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/london.asp , if its more than 6 month And they will reply you on your email id.
or you can also go for CAIPS but it will take more than 1 month.

Minister Kenney's response to lawsuits:

"I think we're already being sued by people for not processing their applications quickly enough. So, quite frankly, dealing with this [backlog] problem decisively I think will reduce any legal risk that may be posed to the government," said Mr. Kenney, when asked about the potential for lawsuits."

by rejecting them?......Insanity, I would say....and now proposing jumping of NOCs and applying RULES RETROSPECTIVELY....another backlog and Outrage???
