Hey all!hope someone can help me..my visa office is port of spain. i already go my first and second aor.i recently renewed my passport and i have to update my information.could anyone tell me what is the procedure..if i have to write a letter..email. telephone..

Did they ask you for ur updated passport...if they didnt ask u dont need to provide them....my passport also expired during the process..and only when they asked me for my updated passport copy, then only i sent them.... So u dont need to worry.... Good luck |

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to put this up here.
We got our medical request on February 25, 2012. The letter was dated February 15, 2012. And finally, we completed our medicals today, on March 26, 2012.
It was a two step process. We went to the DMP first on March 20. They took all the lab tests, history, eyesight test etc. that day for me and my wife. They just took a physical exam of my children. Then, we went today for the physical exam of myself and my wife. And that was it.
And now it's, hopefully, just a game of wait and see, I guess. :-)

dear raheel, congratulations on completing ur medical. by the way, who was ur dmp? we completed our medical in one go. every thing completed same day and whole process completed in 2 hours for family of 4 cheers |

Finally the wait is over!!  We got our PPs back with maple leaf. I would really like to thank each one of you for direct/indirect help in this journey. I would also like to thank a lot to canadestin, Mitali, anil04_10 , Nokiadesire, pinakini2006, spicysank, kg_bang, prince11, Indira Prabhakaran, wayne, qorax, dr_hasib, jacky74, moabbasi, toothfairy, grace1112 you guys rock!! Life is a journey and I am sure our path will cross and I will have chance to meet you guys in real!  also journey doesn't end here I will be around to hear good news from my friends who are still waiting... Hey thanks..i was so worried and confuse..i did not know what to do.. Did they ask you for ur updated passport...if they didnt ask u dont need to provide them....my passport also expired during the process..and only when they asked me for my updated passport copy, then only i sent them....
So u dont need to worry....

Strangely enough, I just checked ecas and mine says 'In Process' as well. Just the link on the first page says 'In Process'. If I click on it, mine doesn't say anything about '...started processing on.. ' etc either. After having checked ecas for so many months now, I am not sure if I just didn't notice the link had changed from RBVO to In process and when this happened. No, my application has not transfered. I will keep you posted.

HI Discreet I see you had same situation as mine in some way, do you mind me asking when after submitting newborn pack did u receive meds, how long it took to arrive? a month? Did they acknowledge the receipt? did you ask for acknowledgement? Did LVO communicate with you by e-mail? I really hope to get my Meds forms in a month too, Please God next week Thanks very much |

I see you had same situation as mine in some way, do you mind me asking when after submitting newborn pack did u receive meds, how long it took to arrive? a month?
Did they acknowledge the receipt? did you ask for acknowledgement? Did LVO communicate with you by e-mail?
I really hope to get my Meds forms in a month too, Please God next week

dear IRG, i added new born in junary and recieved medical in first week of feb via courier. no, they did not acknowledge reciept of dox of new born. yes. i ask tem via email but they did confirm reciept. I wish u recieve ur medical soon. cheers |

Thanks guys. I think they are just updating the system and especially eCas isn't exactly representative of what is going on. Maybe they are just getting to the point where all applications that have reached a certain point (and probably should've had this updated status for ages) are only now getting updated in eCas. I don't really trust eCas especially since its meant for Canadians or something (and ex the address doesn't show the updated address)? (I can't even recall now. Hard to believe how long its been since we submitted our applications) Anyhow Rod, I know we are in the exactly same situation and I hope my file will get picked up right after yours Congrats!
