Dear Pinakini,
I am new to this forum. I came to India to submit our passports. My husband is also on h1b visa in US. I submitted our passports on 13th jan 2012 and medicals received line since 23rd jan 2012. No updates since. I need to get back to US by April 1st week. When can I expect our passports back? We are worried. Senior forum members too plz suggest.

Hey Sweety! Welcome to the Forum! "Medicals results have been received" line has been added. So that's a positive sign and your file is on the right track I hope you have mentioned your predicament in the covering letter sent with your documents and pps. If you haven't done so, then a Case Specific Enquirty/letter/fax should help. Hope you have submitted your FBI no record found letters and clearance certificates from different states you have liven in for more than 6ms (though not necessarily required but as an added caution). The normal processing times are 15days to 6ms...The background checks and security checks are started when the medicals are sent as far as I know...They might be taking time...ur pps must hv bn back following the current trends of the VO..may b a lil more time.. The seniors shld guide you better on the alternative courses you have to travel in the 1st week April...my wishes and prayers are with you...gud luck..cheers... |

Dear Forum,
Wanted to add that 2days after receiving the pps, the e-cas has been updated with the additional lines inside DM as "A decision has been made on your application.The office will contact you concerning this decision." I have already requested that my details be inserted in the tracker. I plead the administrators to kindly insert my details in the tracker for the benefit of others.

While the earlier had a Beautiful Baby Girl ,the later had a Bouncing Baby Boy. What matters to the later was not that s he gave birth to a BBB but that she is alive to see her Baby despite all odds.
