very few cases ar finalised within 6 months....n cases which are finalised within 8-10 months ...PCC was not requested BY NDVO.

NDVO accepts PPC validity till 1 year.

Just wanted to know how long does it generally take for the DD to be en-cashed once it is received by NDVO? Is it en-cashed even before medicals reach or only after they reach?

There is no hard and fast rule for encashment of RPRF.  In most of the cases the draft hs bn encashed anywhere between 2days to a couple of weeks. In my case, for a change the DD hs nt bn encashed since 25th November.  Keep contacting ur banker til u knw the DD hs bn encashed.

Dear seniors and other forum members
Need ur advise. 
I resently recieved my MR/RPRF/PCC request.
I found a mistake on Medical Form of my son's name.....Infact the have writen given name under family name and family name under given name.
Please suggest me, either I go for medical examination with same Medical Form or should I inform the LOndon VO for correction and wait for the corrected one.

Hi Pinakini,

IMO if the RPRF DD was to reach VO after 7th Nov, irrespective of the date it was requested on, the DD was supposed to be of revised amount i.e. Rs22540 for single and Rs45080 for married applicants.

My RPRF request was dated 4th Nov and had former amounts mentioned on it, however I sent RPRF of revised amount on 16th Nov and it was encashed within 2 weeks of reaching NDVO.

Our visas have just arrived today   ...they have been received by our consultant at their New Delhi office..
We should be getting them       @      mumbai by the coming mon or tuesday at the latest...Will share our exact timelines once we have the visas in our hands for updation on the tracker..Its difficult to find the right words to lend expression to our feelings but simply put we are feeling very ecstatic & lucky and are tremendously grateful to God for being provided this wonderful opportunity to shape our careers & a bright future in the land of opportunity(CANADA -THE GREAT WHITE NORTH)

Hi everyone,I have been reading every post on this forum since April 2011(my only regret is that I didnot know of it's existence while I was preparing my paperwork) and have benefited immensely from the posts of all members.I thank you for generously sharing your time,experiences and opinions-indeed your contributions have enlightened my journey,kept me informed and most important -given me hope that all would work out eventually.This is my timeline-

Visa Issued                         ------ Jan  28th 2012
PPs received                       ------ Feb  7th 2012


1)   I do want to add that IMO address disappearance does indicate that one's file is being worked on and is sometimes followed by changes in the ECAS(when no changes are reflected in ECAS, it probably indicates that an officer is working on your file).
2)   Also when I submitted my FBI certficates they had exceeded the three month validity by around a month and a half,and the local PCCs by two and a half months-but they were accepted anyway,as I didnot get a request for fresh ones.
3)  Since my husband travels abroad extensively for his work(evident in his passport) I sent a very humble request-" IF POSSIBLE an expedited return of the PPs." In this regard I got a call on Dec. 29th from NDVO-wherein a VO acknowledged receipt of the request,told me that " they were ready to issue the visa,but was it OK if they took another 7days or maximmum 10days?" I said it was perfectly alright.They did take another month thereoff but the call set my mind at ease. So my humble advice is,if one has a genuine problem/request it really does not hurt to voice it.
 
I once again thank all forum members for your contributions-you indeed made my journey easier.Congratulations to all who have made progress and more important God Speed to all those awaiting a positive end to this journey.

Hey Seniors,

I too have the same question  

My RPRF & PP's reached NDVO by 25th or 26th Jan, but I checked with the bank on Friday and the RPRF has still not been encashed    

When will it happen ??

True... But both were contradictory and a little more views on any of the sides is always strengthening when you are confused... But anyway, I finally decided to send only the "valid", current ones
