Some concerns i would like to share...like you said i should put my civil marriage date...but dont you think in the future it can create legality issues for my child...and this would be considered my marriage date for the rest of my life...O god i wish id knew about muslim marriages not being recognized in uk....otherwise i would have had the civil ceremony at the very same time... |

Since the Relegious marriage does not have any leagal validity,civil marriage date will be your official date of marriage for rest of your life (only for legal Purpose) It will be great if you please elaborate on the leagality concern I think it may not cause any difficulty in the leagal status of yr child (invite Expert openion from Seniors as well) Let us think about a situation where two couples decid to live together befor marriage and have one child. and later they decide go ahead and marry. in that case also the child will get all the benefils from family as well as society THIS MAY NOT BE ABIG ISSUE FOR YOUR CHILD I BELIEVE Regards AJIMON |
