Dear Forum, My wife did her Medical today in Ontario Canada and her DMP is saying that she can only forward the medical results to RMO Ottawa. My visa office is Sydney, Australia and RMO is Singapore. My medical result has been posted to RMO Singapore. Please suggest that is it right for the DMP to send the results to Ottawa  . Hi friends,
Need ur comments plz.
I am a Sept. 2010 applicant and in process since 3rd August 2011. Recently, my e-cas address has been missing for the last couple of weeks. On 19th Dec. 2011, my consultant (who is Canadian resident/citizen) sent a CSE to London VO. In reply, he got the following;
"Dear Sir,
Please be advised that the file is currently undergoing background checks. We will contact you once that is completed.
Sincerely,
CKL
Program Assistant
Immigration Section "
Can anybody make a wise-guess that still how long will it be taken to complete this LONGGGGG background checks (i m a senior level Govt. official in Pakistan and already security cleared) and by when i should be expecting my Med to reach me plz?

Hi zadmalik my background checks are on since July still no information on my file. same reply I got from my visa office and also mentioned there is no time line for BG. We have to wait .... Regards Pavan |

Hi Pavan, Yes, it is always advisable to inform VO as you never know that VO might think of actually calling you at that time when you are away (of all the times)......If they know your whereabouts it will be easier on both of you. Mitali |

@ Zadmalik.....its a million dollar question malik....very difficult to give a definite time frame. But since you are a Govt official...the time (?) might be more than avg (2-3 months). Pavan's case is unfortunately stuck somewhere.  Mitali |

Yes i have completed the x-ray and another test, but test result will come after 6-8 weeks....so i have to wait for 2-3 months now.
My ecase only In Process only without medical received line.

A numerous kudos to you dear on the receipt of your Maple Leave visa. You were getting over bordered over appearance of 'Medical has been received' line and Santa fast forwarded it and brought it to your door steps.
Thus again demonstrated that our ways are not God's way,he is indeed a stronghold to those who calls him Abba Father.....
