What can we presume for RBVO guys ??

That NDVO's New Year Resolution would be to clear heavy backlogs and therefore even RBVOs will move further down the process  Cheesy Sooon...

Hi Guys

Not a good news for me in New Year. Received Letter from NDVO yesterday for Re-Medical for my wife.

I was ready to submit requested Clarification to NDVO and another hurdle came as re-medical.

Now I will take much time.

Dear Seniors in the group/All,

My details are-
NOC - 0631
Visa Office - NDVO
App. recd at Nova Scotia - 29 March 2011
File no. generated - 28 April 2011
RBVO - Early June 2011
In Process - 23 November 2011
RPRF/Med/PP Request - 23 November 2011
Med Done - 11 Dec. 2011
I recently also updated NDVO about my younger son born in April this year, recd his PPR/Med request and sent both by 23rd December. Since then I am regularly checking my CAS however it remains to be in process.
My understanding is that respective Visa Office, )e.g NDVO in my case) updates the CAS once the status is "In Process". Also, many a times I have seen people sharing in forums that their status went to DM just then etc. Out of curiosity, from the fact that I sent the PPs of my new born and got his medicals done, on 23rd and 22nd dec resp., I keep checking hoping that NDVO would probably update real time. Pl correct me if I am wrong... then I bellieve it gets only updated once weeky... tuesdays, right? So should I just check once weekly then?

My suggestion to NDVO applicants who have not received MR/Instruction after 6months from AOR :

Send email to NDVO asking about status of ur application...u have the right to know.

whether its coincidence or not....but it worked for me.

I sent CSE after 6 months completed....and within 28 days i got MR instead of reply.

Again i sent email after medicals( as medical line dint appeared) visa was issued within 3 days

I did send a CSE on October 8, 2011 when it was exactly 6 months to my AOR from NDVO... But it turned IP only by Dec 5, 2011 (process started Dec 2) i.e. much later after the CSE... Now again one month to IP and I have not yet got MR... Should I wait until end of next week or just send off a CSE?
