Please guys I need some information, I am a Canadian citizen living in Montreal - Quebec, and I married a girl from the middle east, then I applied to sponsor her under the Family Class Category, I paid all the fees, and the Application submitted for processing and after about 3 or 4 months my wife got a letter from the Canadian Embassy in her country, to Aknowledge her of the receipt of her Application, and the embassy started the background check phase.
Now Something Came up and I want to withdraw the Application, my Questions is: I need to know How Much Money they will refund me back from the whole fees I've already paid?  I paid about 1525$ plus about 250 $ for Quebec
I will appriciate any input!
Thank you in advance

The initial application fees are non-refundable.
The right of landinf fee is refundable if you have paid it and withdraw your application.

You will get the $975 right of landing fee refunded, although you have to apply for it.

Thanks PMM for your input, but I don't think I've paid the $975 right of landing fee yet, anyway I've heard that the fees are refundable just in case I've been ineligible to sponsor, or my wife's application is refused, nothing of what aforementioned happened, I was eligible to sponsor my wife and she was not refused to be granted the visa, so this means no money is refundable?

HelOoooooOOOOOooooOO, is there anyone that can make this clear for me plz, I paid these fees:

• $75 for the sponsor;
• $475 for a principal applicant (the person being sponsored) who is 22 years of age or older, or who is a spouse, a common-law partner or conjugal partner, regardless of their age.
• $975 The Right of permanent residence fee.

I paid all that and I got this Receipt by the E.mail (you can see it on this link): http://tinyurl.com/p8mw4
so is this money, is non-refundable?

As I said before, if the visa was not issued, you will get the $975 back.
