Application to Change Conditions, Extend My Stay or Remain

I applied for extension of my visitors visa 3 months ago.. and I have received one letter today stating that my application has been transferred to the Canada Immigration Centre located at scarborough.
I want to know what's gona happen next and how long it could further take?
Plz let me know if anyone have such experience..

15-10-09 approval letter received file transfered to visa centre ISB
05-11-09 Visa office started processing, Medical received

Probably an interview, as Vegreville has doubts about your extension request.
