Most Respected Sir/ Madam !

I have applied for Immigration & Citizenship  with my family for your esteemed country as Federal Skilled Worker category in May-2010 without
help of any consultant from Pakistan.

Mode of payment which was selected by me for initial payment of immigration & Citizenship fee was through
Credit Card .

Amount of $1,250/- ($550, $550, $150 respectively) was deducted from that above mentioned credit card on dated 21 August 2010 but
still i have not receive any intimation/acknowledgement  from your office.

I will be grateful to you if you update me with the current status regarding my application.

Your prompt response is highly appreciated.

Yours Truly,

Amar Khurshid

With respect ,I wanna let you know this is general forum for immigration not any kind of office. You did a big mistake by mentioning your bio data including credit card number,
its my strong and humble advise to you at your very first attempt call your credit card company to reissue a new credit card number and in future be careful to give your personal info on general level.
God Bless You

Amar!

I help you here regarding this matter. You cannot contact CIO,Canada directly via email. You need to contact canadian high commission islamabad by email, they will forward your email to cio, canda and then you will hear from cio, canada by email.

I was in a similar situation some months ago and I contacted canadian high commission islamabad, they forwarded my email to cio, then CIO replied me.

email address of chc islamabad is

islamabad-im-enquiry  @  international.gc.ca

do not leave any gaps in this email address.

In your email mention your

Name.
Date of Birth.
Addres.
E-mail
date your application was received at cio. (given by courier)

ask them what is going on with your application and you never heard anyhting.

also i am pasting here the response I received  from cio,

Dear Client:
In reply to your mail (see below) please find below the response of CIO Sydney.

Regards,

Good Morning,

We do have record of this application, however,  due to a temporary change of procedures in order to accommodate the  new changes and the release of the new ministerial instructions, clients file is in queue to be assessed. Please allow some additional time for the processing of clients file.

You can contact CIO Sydney directly by email and I advise you to use the following address:  FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca
You can also phone the CIO Call Centre (1-613-944-4000), but you will remain on hold for 20 to 30 minutes and the level of information you may get is questionable.  The email route is the best.  Expect to wait at least two days to hear from them, apart from an automatic response upon receipt at their end.
Good Luck.

if you want to contact them by telephone (0016139444000) use options 1...2....1.....2.....1 . but there can be delay in answering your call so i didn't provide telephone no. they will ask your name, date of birth, address etc.

Crumbs, wxyz...asking me for sources, LOL....On the Applications after 26/06 thread we've been bantering back and forth with this email address for ages.  It is buried somewhere on the official website, but I haven't a clue where.  Do not leave spaces on either side of the  @  symbol.  It just comes up that way when you type it on this forum.  And YES, it does work, it is the address I am using for my correspondence with CIO.  They replied two days later.
