A few days back i asked chc about the progress of my application and in return I got the following mail from them.plz tell me is it a positive or a negative sign?
Dear Client,
In response to your email, please be informed that this application is in queue for review by an immigration officer.
If any further information is required you will be contacted. In the meantime, please wait patiently while the application is processed.
It is a standard reply, which doesn't give any information other than application being in queue. |

Salam,
I am third year student of McGill University and my TRV expired so I applied for new one at CHC I on Jun 5th and have not heard from them yet, no reply to e-mails. DO renewal applications need medical? I must go back for Fall 2012 semester. I already have my Study Permit I renew in Canada. Please any help will be appreciated, urgent!!

Hey, As per IRPA regulations, If you have resided for more than 6 consecutive months in Pakistan immediately preceding the date of filing your case, then you will be required to undergo a medical exam. Quote: "As per Immigration and Refugee Protection Act Regulation 30(1)(c), if an individual is seeking entry to Canada for a period of greater than six months, and has resided or sojourned, at any time during the one year period immediately preceding the date of seeking entry, for six consecutive months, in a designated country/territory, then he/she is required to undergo an immigration medical examination." |
