hello i'm pardeep from chandigarh, India. and i want to apply for canada for this september intake. I have 60% in computer engg, diploma and IELTS with 6(L-7.5,R-6,W-5.5,S-5). so i want to know wether i get admissions in any college or not. and i'm very scared about my visa also weather i get it or not. so could any one suggest me about this.

What does "IELTS request" mean (that I see in some of posters' details)? Does CHC Islamabad ask the applicant to provide them with IELTS score?
I have submitted them IELTS general score. I took the exam on 20 march 2010. The score recently expired. However it was valid when i used it to secure my admission. Do you guys think i will be asked to write it again?
Also from what i have understood from different posts at this forum is that, after sending your application you wait for medical request. For which CHC actually sends back your passport to you. You use the passport to get the medical done and send it back to CHC. They issue the visa and return your passport and original documents. is my understanding correct guys?

yeah u r rite,ielts request means that at which date u have given ielts, and chc does not ask for ielts,u have to provide it along with ur application, now as u saidd that ur ielts is expired,but when u got admission it was valid, beside this can u tell will u be going to college or uni,now it depends on it alot,if ur overall profile and uni or college is reputable they will surely accept ur ielts as ielts is the requirement of university not the embassy. |

Thanks for your reply. I am going to a university for MEng program. Did my BEng from UET 10 years ago. Work experience/profile is OK enough I guess. General IELTS is for immigration but hopefully it works for you...I repeated my IELTS because old one has expired a month before i applied for visa.............. |
