Our application was received at Sydney on June 9 and we received email to send our supporting documents to Pretoria on August 13th.
So just over 2 months of waiting.
Now I wonder how long I will be waiting to hear from PTA.
Our supporting documents reached PTA on August 21st.

Paco, how were you able to check your Ecas? Don't you need a file number for that?

Meena, I sent my initial application to CIO Sydney on June 26, my DD was encashed on Aug5.

I already have a study permit, so i used my previous client ID (0000-0000) to login ECas.

Hi anjay....

You applied from which place.

I applied from New Delhi and Draft is of ICICI Bank. I sent mine on 25th June and till yesterday there is no DD encashment.. thouigh my application reached on 2nd July...

Hi Meena,

just Relax......

People who had applied in June started getting AOR. You need to just wait.

My application was send on 19th June DD was encashed on 6th August. Am also waiting for AOR.

Yes u r right, but atleast you have some status as your DD has been encashed.

I am worried as my DD is not yet cashed.

But I am waiting and crossing my fingers for positive response.

I just came to know from Bank that my DD has been encashed. They do not know the date when it was encashed.

Thank God atleast I can think of that my Application has been reviewed by the Officers there.

Now waiting eargerly for AOR....

I was checking with my Bank about my DD encashment but they were continuously saying its not yet encashed. But after 25th August they told me that your DD has been encashed.

But when I enquired about the date they yesterday told me that it was encashed on 6th August. See how it is possible that they were not able to track till 25th but now they are saying its more then 1 month for this.

Now my concern becomes more. As it is more then 1 month and I have not received any reply. It was reached NS on 2nd July and DD was encashed on 6th August.

Seniors please tell what to do.

As the DD was for Canada, Banks takes the help of another Forex co's  to exchange the currency... The Banks even gets the update after 15- 20 days of encasement.. Nothing to worry.. Best of Luck..

Well I m too from Delhi & the status is:

Application sent: 12th May.
DD Cashed: 16th June
Still Waiting.............................
